We have a10,000 BTU Soleus and we wanted a second for a much smaller room. We saw all the great reviews for this unit so we bought it and hooked it up. We actually bought two of them and place another in a small 5'x8' room as well.
This thing makes a lot of noise and indeed has a small amount of cool air coming out of the front vent, but it does absolutely nothing to cool the room. Room at 80F, turn this thing on full blast for 3 hours.. room is 80F. Good grief! All that power and noise and all it can do is maintain the same room temps. This is in a small 10x9 room as well that a 10K BTU Soleus portable could cool down to 70F in less than an hour, yet this one cannot drop one degree in 3 hours on full blast.
The one in the smaller room also cannot cool the room even a single degree.
Also, the hose connector is a total fail. Any standard garden hose does not fit properly and it will leak. This unit also produces 2x as much water as our Soleus does, which is a whopping 1QT per hour roughly of water. I had to place towels to catch the drips from the connectors (it has two and they BOTH leak) and a 1.5 gallon bottle so as to not have to empty it every couple hours.
What's great about it: It has wheels? The vent kit is pretty easy to set up.
What's not so great: Doesn't cool, leaky connectors, noisy

This was a great coffee maker while it lasted, but for the price you would expect that to be longer than a year!
This machine had problems at about the 6 months mark and finally stopped working completely in about a year. For the price, this thing should last beyond the 3 year limited warranty.
The pump mechanism is what has issues. At about 6 months, it started having problems pumping the hot water through k-cups. Some descaling and instructions from the manual helped, but it was never the same as it took several minutes to dribble out a cup of coffee. A few months later and it pulls in water, heats it, but just makes a moaning noise and only a few drops of hot water come out.
We're going to try the Keurig Platinum next in hopes it is better made. Really liked this Cuisinart though and wish it were simply more durable!
What's great about it: Large reservoir, many coffee sizes, good featureset

I got this GPS as a Christmas gift. It functions well! It's very easy to use, the POI database is very handy for my area and the unit performs admirably.
The display is very bright and clear, the voice prompts are clear and useful and the device is overall a high quality unit. I have used it every day since I received it for locations close and far. The traffic feature seems to work as well.
My only gripes are how long it takes to initially acquire satellite data and that it does not have a USB cable included. I've spent almost 10 minutes on a few events waiting for the initial satellite acquisition to complete. Also, the lack of the USB cable is petty and should be included to allow the user to at least update the unit. Overall, these are small gripes for an otherwise decent unit.
What's great about it: Ease of use, display, voice assist
What's not so great: Reception, no USB cable included
