My turn

I bought these for my wife a year ago. I was amazed by the sound. My computer speakers were Klipsch - ProMedia 2.1, and they are also very good speakers. When my Klipsch failed I thought of replacing them, but decided to get myself a set of these Bose instead. They don't have the subwoofer, but for the amount of bass I usually enjoy, I don't need it. The amount of bass and the sound of these Bose for $50 less than the Klipsch was the right decision for me. Great sound and easier to move around.

This 92mm fan helps keep your computer's components cool for excellent operation. The 2800 rpm fan speed with 54.8 cfm airflow volume provides fast, efficient cooling.

Build or modify your own PC:Yes
Level of Expertise:Average
Primary reason for building/modifying PC:Multimedia (music, movies, photos)
After upgrading my CPU, the original fan was working very hard and was extremely loud. This cooler is silent and improved the CPU temperature by almost 30 percent. Installation on an AMD processor took about 5 minutes even with my fumbling with the bracket. Note that if your original fan is stuck to the CPU, you can loosen the thermal compound by running the computer for a few minutes just prior to changing the cooler. This will heat the compound and allow for easy removal. For less than $20 this cooler is outstanding!
What's great about it: Price and it's silent
What's not so great: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

I upgraded to these from some Harmon/Kardon speakers, which would start to distort when I cranked up the volume. I like my music loud, and these do the trick. Very nice sound and good frequency response.
What's great about it: Very high powered PC speakers
What's not so great: A little pricey
I would recommend this to a friend!
