Excellent mouse and keyboard. We use both with our Home Threatre PC. The mouse and keybaord are nothing fancy but we needed both to work from at least 10 ft away from the HTPC. These work reliably at 15+ ft., which is more than we need. And the price was very competive for the quality both.

Great PC Speaker For Those Who Enjoy Quailty Audio

Learned a lot from all the other reviews - Thank you. I am very happy with my purchase, these are great speakers! I wanted to add a couple of things not covered in other reviews.
1- The sound from these speakers will only be as good as your sound card, its drivers, and settings. Some sound cards default to non-flat equalization settings to compensate for "typical" limited frequency PC speakers. If the sound from these speakers doesn't meet your expectations check you sound card settings and be sure you have the latest driver(s) before assuming the speakers are at fault.
2. Placement of the subwoofer can significantly effect its performance. The manual gives the suggested placement as the back of the subwoofer being against a wall. The subwoofer has a factory marking noting a recommended setting. This is roughly 1/3 of the subwoofers volume adjustment and may be more bass than some prefer. Because the subwoofer crossover frequency is low you can reduce the subwoofer volume and not effect the overall sound quality.
3. The Best Buy specifications for these speakers indicates a 5 yr warranty but the paperwork that came with my set (12-2009) say 1 yr.
4. AC power consumption measured with a KILL-A-WATT meter is 14 watts at all but the highest volume.
These speakers replaced a set of 2.1 Altec-Lansing. The Altec's were good speakers using an unconventional downward facing mid-range driver in the satallites. These Klipsch cost roughly 50% more than the Altec's but the sound quality is noteable, equal to or greater than the increase in price. I expect to get many years of great performance out of this set of Klipsch.
What's great about it: Excellent clarity, quality construction
What's not so great: No power on/off with volume and sub-volume controls (on/off switch is on back of subwoofer)
