Its a Dazzle!

The Dazzle was pretty easy to setup. I had to upgrade my graphics card to use it well though. Mind you, I did have the very first graphics card that came with the cpu which was pretty bad.
I use it to record video games and so far the quality has been decent. I'm sure I could make it better if I adjusted some settings. But otherwise it works fine.
One thing I wanted to touch on in this review was the customer service. I used the online chat service and the response was both fast and helpful. And the rep knew what kind of graphics card I should get. I've read other reviews and they give some really bad reviews for the customer service for over the phone. I haven't tried that but I strongly suggest you use the chat feature on their site.
What's great about it: Captures video at a decent quality
What's not so great: Doesn't have HD capture
I would recommend this to a friend!

Enhance your gaming experience with this graphics card that features an NVIDIA CineFX engine for film-quality color and effects and Digital Vibrance Control 3.0 for optimal brightness in most lighting conditions.

Does it's Job

The card works fine. I needed it for a recording software's 3-d imaging engine. The installation was short and simple. I just had to remember to plug my monitor into the card and to disable the other monitor output connection.
Setup is even easier, the card automatically configures the screen for best output. Also u can change the settings to fit what u are doing at the time. i.e. Watching videos, picture viewing/editing, streaming video sites like youtube. And u can do this at any time from the desktop "right-click" menu.
What's great about it: Easy set up, Automatic reconfigure
What's not so great: Haven't found anything I don't like about it
I would recommend this to a friend!

What is the difference between - and + on a dvd rw drives or the disks when using?

Simple.
Minus = Once this disc is burned there's no adding to it unless u erase the full disc.

Plus = Able to add more data to the disc even if there is data already burned onto it w/o erasing the full disc.

I have a netbook and need to add an external disc drive to it. Connection is via USB? Need to be able to put programs onto netbook. Any suggestions?

Netbook: Need to be able to upload programs to current netbook and also be able to write discs. Any suggestions on what to purchase?
These days externals are pretty good. I just bought the Pioneer Slim Portable 8x External USB 2.0 Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive and it works fine. And its very compact. It'll probably fit in your laptop case w/ the laptop. Does both CDs and DVDs. Find one that does both to avoid having to buy another.

I really like the LG drives but they tend to be a little pricey. Try to find one that is on sale with the original price in the $60-$80 range. I got that one at $50. Regular price was $80
