Before I bought this Garmin, some reviews mentioned the questionable sound quality. I also have a TomTom 125SE.
The graphics on Garmin are superior, but sound quality is important to me since I have some hearing loss. The TomTom's sound quality is EXCELLENT.
My wife has perfect hearing, so the quality of the Garmin sound doesn't bother her as much; however, she definitely notices the superior quality and clarity in voice commands with the TomTom vs the Garmin.
Bottom line: If you don't mind a muffled like sound quality, go with Garmin............but if sound quality and clarity is important to you, then think about another option. Give it a thumbs up to my superior audiology friends
What's great about it: Graphics are great, easy to use
