Wow!!!!

I am actually using these speakers for my TV. I have a theater in my basement so I needed a new TV for our main, everday use. I got a new Insignia LCD and the speakers on that are not very good. I am admittedly an audio geek and I like a nice all-around solid sound for everything I listen to. I looked at soundbars, and some of them were good contenders. But I don't have alot of space on my fireplace for one. I knew there was a headphone jack on my TV, so I headed over to the computer speaker section. The salsesman pointed me to the Bose 2 speaker set for a bit less (about $10 at the time), but they sounded "boxy" and did not have a nice low end to them. I know Klipsch has great home theater speakers, so I turned these on and....WOW!!!! I was shocked how good it sounded. I brought the ProMedia set home, plugged into my TV through the headphone jack. It has a full solid sound. This was easily one of my best purchases, EVER. I did get it on sale, so that helped even more. But I would highly reccomend at the full price. If you are looking for a great, small price, big sound solution and don't have the space for a big reciever and such for your TV....GET THIS. Go ahead....get off the internet and go have a listen for yourself. It sounds the same as in the store when you get it home. I also hook up my MP3 player to it and it fills the house with crystal clear, solid music. Highest recomendations.
What's great about it: Phenominal Value, Great full, Solid sound
What's not so great: None that I can find
I would recommend this to a friend!

No miracast
By mikl
Except a huge thickness for a recent tablet (acceptable in the end because of the good design), it could be one of the very best. But they totally screwed up their concept by forcing costumers to use a wifi wireless controller, and not a classic Bluetooth controller like all the other Android devices. So you pay 60 $ for a controller which will inhibit your Wifi speed in hour home, and which disable miracast on your tablet. Basically, you have a gaming tablet, which can't project on a screen without wires, when all the other phones/tablets can...nice. You can still use chromecast, but it will use your home Wifi as well, and slow down the speed. Why did they do that? Insane bad engineering, because all the offer is based on the stream of PC videogames, and I tell, you, the internet speed will never allow you to stream a game + using you wifi controller + casting through your box and the chrome key. I will return mine, sadly, because it remains a good tablet, cheap and powerful.

Defective Screen, confusing remote, no TV tuner
By BigUp
I received this TV as a replacement for another Vizio that had a backlight that started to go bad. As I was setting up the new tv, the backlight in the upper right corner went out - causing a dark shadowy area. I have since moved on to a Samsung since I had 2 Vizios with bad screens.
Another thing I didn't like about this tv was that it didn't have a TV tuner. I know that a lot of ppl have cable/satellite and have no use for a tuner, but I am one of those that have revolted against cable and opted for over the air (OTA) broadcasting.
Finally, I felt the tablet remote was a little confusing. Granted I only used it for a couple of days so I didn't really have a chance to get familiar with its interface. In that time I had to pair it with the Tv three times and because the tablet remote screen was capacitive I had to be conscious of any faulse touches when my fingers were near the screen. The problem with the remote was more apparent once I received the Samsung TV where instead of a brick covered with buttons, Samsung created a minimal remote that strips away any unnecessary features and keeps it simple.

If you read the description of the TV it clearly states there is no tuner, so that should not be a surprise. If not having a tuner is an issue for you why did you buy the TV in the first place? Not trying to be snotty, I just don't understand why people give negative reviews on products that clearly explained in the description that it doesn't have something that a person wants, yet they buy it anyway and hold that against the product in the review. It's like if I bought a motorcycle but gave it poor reviews because it was not 4 wheel drive. Or when people compare a mid level product to a top tier product and give it negative reviews because it doesn't have top tier options/functionality. I totally understand if 100% of the rating is all due to the picture issues, I would be disappointed too and my review would reflect that. But it's not fair to give a part of your low rating to lack of reading the product page or doing thorough research. Good luck, hopefully you find something you are happy with. I love the TV, I have another Vizio and have not had an issue with either. Rtings.com and CNET didn't make this specific model a top pick in this class for nothing.

Frustrating....buyer beware
By Superwayne
Bought this receiver 1 year ago. About 3 months after is when the problems arose. It used to power on just fine. However, now it will not. It turns on literally for 2-3 seconds and then turns off. If I unplug it for a day or longer, it will turn on. And, if the volume is above 44, it will turn off right in the middle of whatever you're watching. Reviews said it worked great. But simply Google "Oknyo receiver won't turn on" and you'll see the frustration shared by me. For $500 you think they would recall it. Nope. Ridiculous...Buyer Beware!

Sounds like an over heating issue I had with an old receiver. Is it in an enclosed cabinet? If so take it out and see if it works better, or get a small $10 desk fan to help with airflow. Once I did those things it stopped randomly shutting down on me
