Very Disappointed

I am building a new house and went to BB to get information on multiple items I wanted to install in the house. 2 TV's, Home Audio System, Mounts, Cables, etc.. The sales guy suggested an in home consultation. Not what I came to the store for but thought it may not be a bad idea to get another opinion on what I wanted to do. The rep showed up at the house on time (Oh there is something good) I told him what I was wanting to do and that I wanted to install everything myself if possible. I also told him I had a limited budget and did not need top of the line stuff. After 15 minutes he said he would email a proposal in a day or two. I received his proposal the next day for $9000+ which included a Universal RF Remote that would control everything, it added around $1500 to the cost with all of the programming and equipment that goes with it. I emailed back right away telling him I didn't think I needed the reomote because of the cost. It took another email from me to get him to respond after 6 days and when he did the proposal still included the remote and intallation that had been reduced. I asked for another proposal without the remote and after another 6 days and another email from me he replied saying he would look at it and I could also contact his partner. Several days went by without a reply so I contacted his partner who said he would take a look at what I wanted and get back to me. He never has. It has been over a month now and I stll don't know any more that I did the day I went to the store. It seems that if there is not a large installation fee included they loose interest.
I would say if you don't have a budget and want everything installed for you this service MIGHT be OK. If you have a budget and want to install yourself DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME.

What's not so great: Never have received a final quote
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
