What are you looking to update??look at the bottom of your Dell for the service tag, go to Dell.com service and support and look for driver and updates. all though, for the age of your laptop, it will make it minimally faster. Your better off investing in new. with the cost of laptops so low, especially with weekly sales at best buy and other sites, your time investment will be better served. Any computer hardware older than 5 years will be hard to keep up with software out nowadays.
