Terrific starter 4K television

I picked my LG up during pre-black Friday sale and I couldn't be happier.
It doesn't have all the bells and whistles as its higher end sibling but it does pack quite a bit of value. The picture quality is good even using a digital antenna. I really like LG's proprietary Web OS. Everything was easy to set up from start to finish. You could link it to your smartphone and use it as a TV guide and extra remote. Netflix and Youtube apps were good as well as Pandora. Typing with the remote control is not easy but at least it gives you common search items. I would recommend hooking it up to a stereo or the optional LG soundbar. The built in speakers were underwhelming. The high dynamic mode is great for TV shows and animated movies but would turn Hollywood action movies into something that's been captured with a Go Pro camera. Overall, this is a decent 4K TV

The perfect companion for your iPad Pro. It's fast charging, writes well and can handle gestures beautifully. I only wish it comes in iPad matching colors like silver, grey and gold.

Great infrared remote control for your computer

I was excited to install this adapter on my laptop so I can watch TV. However the included portable antenna was so weak I could only get one channel where I live. Fortunately the only channel that came in is in HD and the picture quality is excellent.( Oddly enough you need a TV adapter similar to this to configure your Windows Media Center properly)
The one and most significant redeeming feature is the infrared remote control. Together with Windows Media Center, the wireless remote gives you control over your PC. This means you can control everything from your music collection, videos, TV and even turn off your computer!! Plus, it also works with iTunes.
So if you have cable or a really good aerial antenna and you're looking for a TV adapter and a DVR for your computer, look no further. The Hauppage TV Stick has an excellent remote control that easily turns your computer into a real multimedia center you could dedicate to your big screen TV.
However, if you're expecting good TV reception just from the portable antenna, try a different brand.
What's great about it: Excellent remote capabilities, no driver needed with Windows Vista and 7
What's not so great: Poor TV reception using portable antenna
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Apple Mac conversion
I currently own 2 PC's and my wife wants to get a Mac for picture editing. She says our computer takes to long to down load teh pictures from teh SD card to the PC. My question is can we use all the current external items for the Mac? IE printers, external drive etc. Or how can I speed up teh sd download process?
Yes, every peripherals will work on the new Mac. SD cards are inherently slow. You could try getting a high speed SD card to speed things up. This goes for PC and MAC as well.

If I buy a MAC laptop and still want to be able to use my PC at work what software do I need?
You would need Parallel or Boot Camp and a copy of Windows. However your computer will run hot with Parallel since you're running two OS at the same time.

im looking for a laptop thats under $600, has a webcam and is a pleasure to edit videos on. does what im looking for even exist? please help me
