Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Great acting by Steve Carrell, who is out of character as the straight man that no one likes. Sam Rockwell always turns in great performances and this turn is no different. He is extremely funny and energetic as the park's manager. The main character, whose name escapes me, is thoroughly believable as the adolescent going through a rough time after his parents divorced. All in all it's worth a watch.

Unlike the first AvP, this movie does not hold back on the violence of the six rated R movies it is based on. The movie is short, somewhat predictable, and full of lousy acting. That does not mean that it is not incredible in what it does best, which is show a lot of blood and creative ways for Aliens to die. The introduction of the "PredAlien" into the canon of Alien versus Predator is pretty incredible as well.

They Live is a cult classic that finally got the Blu-Ray treatment. The extras include a commentary and the movie looks and sounds great. Sadly, Best Buy as usual didn't have this in the store. I had to order it. What made it more frustrating was that I had two "In store only" coupons, which apparently you can't use if you're ordering something in store. With Best Buy's complete lack of products in store (unless you want one of their 115 copies of "Ted" on DVD) I don't really understand why they would even have in-store only coupons. Does anyone else?
