This vacum has two filters that must be cleaned constantly. It kicks out the dirt on bare floors. I vacuum my floors daily so it is not like I have an extrodianary amont of dirt and hair. After using this vaccum it was necessary to sweep the floor. Bissell's customer service was worth less than zero. They recommended I buy another vacuum for the bare floors.
What's great about it: Nothing is great about this vacuum.
What's not so great: Filters constantly clog, must clean every 50 to 100 square feet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
