In director Jon Avent's 2008 crime drama RIGHTEOUS KILL, two New York City police detectives-Turk (Robert de Niro) and Rooster (Al Pacino)attempt to track down a serial killer who targets only vicious criminals. This enigmatic vigilante has earned the duo's respect, yet they are duty-bound to apprehend the criminal-hunting assailant, and in doing so they strain the bonds of their longtime partnership. Aiding Turk and Rooster are a fiery younger pair of detectives (Donnie Wahlberg and John Leguizamo) and investigator Karen Correlli (Carla Gugino), who are determined to see that justice is served. The second face-to-face film pairing of De Niro and Pacinothe first being Michael Mann's gritty 1995 epic, HEAT-RIGHTEOUS KILL finds the revered veteran actors working within the confines of a police procedural. Ably supported by Gugino, Wahlberg, and Leguizamo, the iconic performers contribute relatively subdued turns, never fully engaging in their signature dramatic fireworks. Director Jon Avnet Star Robert de Niro, Al Pacino, Brian Dennehy, John Leguizamo, 50 Cent, Carla Gugino, Anamorphic Widescreen - 2.35 Audio Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround - English Subtitles - Spanish Additional Material Audio Commentary - Jon Avnet - Producer, Director Featurette - 1. One time movie

For the first time since "Heat" Pacino and De Niro pair up in a movie and all we could get is a rather mediocre cop drama about two good old cops one of which goes vigelante on the bad guys. Rather simple and not so interesting plot, there was only one moment that actually deserve a note - which one of them is actually the killer. There is really nothing special about this movie, a real waste of good actors. They probably took the roles just to hang out with each onther on the set. Nowhere near "Heat"
What's great about it: Good actors
What's not so great: Mediocre plot

Director Marcus Nispel's over-the-top remake of Tobe Hooper's unrelenting horror masterpiece arrives on DVD in fine form with New Line Home Entertainment's Platinum Series double-disc release of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, the image offers a near-perfect presentation of cinematographer Daniel Pearl's lush photography, save for some serious signs of edge-enhancement. Likewise, the English DTS-ES Surround Sound audio mix provides an eerie and effective grab bag of directional effects in addition to providing an ideal showcase for the shrieking, room-shaking buzz of the ever-familiar saw. Other audio options include English Dolby Digital EX 5.1 and English Dolby Digital Stereo Surround, with optional English and Spanish subtitles. Extra features include a music video for the Motograter song "Suffocate," television spots, and a theatrical trailer.

I would agreen with "horrorman" that this movie falls far behind the original, but I think it's still a great one in a "Texas..." franchize, compared to horrible faliures that have been made. It's down to the story and the mythology, it's scary and intense. If you enjoy this one - you MUST watch the original

Ultimate version of an ultimate movie

The ultimate version of an ultimate movie. The movie is so good that it's been banned in many contries like UK for years. Unlike many modern horrors that show tons of gore, and horrible scenes this movie doesn't have much blood or scenes of dismemberment, etc. But it's the scariest movie I've ever seen and it is usually a challenge for me to find something scary. And this is an ultimate edition - steelbox, 2 disc, tons of extra features... A must have for any horror fan.

Not bad at all

This was a highly intertaining movie. Non stop action without trying to get too deep into the story. If you want a perfect guy movie for an evening with a 6-pack and a pizza - this is it. Just pop it in and you get over an hour of a lot of people getting unrealisticly shot from all possible angles. Yes, it is stupid and unrealistic, but it a movie. And not all movies should be complicated and have a twisted plot.

What seemed to be another "Good luck Juck" movie (god I hated it) turned out to me enough funny enough serious thing. Pretty good, realistic and well played story how seemed to be sturdy relationship can go sour and what happenes after that. Really reminded me of some parts of my life. Well done, well done indeed

I was very sceptical about this movie, expecting some usual B movie about overhormoned and never sober teens, but the movie turned out to be such a joy to watch that I decided it's worth buying. Giving the redefinition of what higher education should be and presenting it in a funny, even hillarious form. Absolutely amazing. Highly recommended to all highschoolers, college kids, their parents and everybody else

I wish I was blind...

I really see a movie and say that's it's completely horrible. But this is the one. I'm sorry but there is nothing comic in the plot of a guy sleeping with multiple girls for no apparent reason, but to prove some strange, morning hangover, theory. The inability of Cook and Alba to act doesn't help the movie. Cook should stick to the stand up, and Alba... well she shouldn't act. Period. The movie tried to be funny with bed scenes, but it looked more pathetic, like somebody tried to make an adult movie and horribly failed. Don't waste your time...
What's great about it: Jessica's body...
What's not so great: Everything else

I'm very tolerable towards anime and try to give it a lot of slack, but this one was horrible. While graphics were decent, nothing supreme or extraordinary. But the plot is so disastreous that I couldn't sit through more then 3 episodes and I think if series didn't get engaging by episode 2-3 it's done for me. But if you decide to watch it, take the kids away from the screen. A lot of adult situations. Nudity and graphic violence

Some people compared this anime to the "Final Fantasy". I haven't seen it, but I'll tell you that - Ex Machina blew me away. It was produced with John Wu. Anything else you want to know? Oh, well - amazing CGI and nice heavy soundtrack complete the picture. And watch it on a decent screen and with good bassy sound, it'll add the pleasure. It can be also found in a steelbox edition.

WASTE OF MONEY
By Nasobum9 from Phoenix,az
This game is a complete waste of money.. graphics might be good but single player is too short and lacks direction, multi-player is fun but lacks realism in real world conflicts.. MP-9 100 yd kill shots, not likely

Actually I was surprised myself when I learned that the effective range of MP-9 is 50-100 meters (100 yards = 91 meters)

because walmart wont tell me i thought id go to yall
As far as I remember Sony never goes down on its PS3 prices. Maximum that they usually do is add some last season game to it or may be a HDMI cable. I bought my PS3 for last Christmas and paid the full price. There were no sales on it AT ALL and Best Buy was completely sold out
