Beware, the sony License agreement which must be accepted in order to use this player, states, in part, that: "The SOFTWARE contains features which may allow SONY and/or third parties to collect data from, control and/or monitor computers and devices running or interacting with the SOFTWARE. You hereby agree that such activities may occur."
Essentially, SONY is asking you to agree that they, or other unnamed third parties, have the right to collect unspecified data from your computer, and control your computer if they wish to do so.
For this reason alone, prospective MP3 buyers should look for non-Sony products.
What's great about it: Lightweight
What's not so great: Short Battery life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
