Was skeptical due to some of the reviews citing DOA, poor sound, popping noises etc. but couldn't resist the $69 sale price @ BB. Very happy I bought it. It's fed by an older Panasonic 6.1 channel receiver and feeds two Bose speakers from an Acoustamass set. I chose to not connect the sub woofer from the set as not much bass emminates from the surround channels, Setup took just a few minutes, only hard part was getting behind the TV stand to connect the wireless xmtr to the receiver which is at floor level.. Once connected to speakers and receiver I powered it up and it immediately connected and I had a room full of surround sound. I turn it off when not being used and it reconnects immediately every time I turn it back on. Have had no interference problem with any of my other 2.4 ghz devices which include a wireless phone system, wireless router, wireless security system and 7 other WIFI devices. Also no popping noises at any level regardless of how volume control on the AV receiver or the Rocketfish receiver are set. There seems to be more than enough power out from the Rocketfish to drive the surround speakers at levels higher than you would normally use for surround speakers. Pandora and surround enabled video from Amazon, Netflix and Blu-Ray is amazing. Of course Bose has a lot to do with that but the garbage in-garbage out rule still applies. I've only had it for 2 days now so can't speak to longevity but have had very good experience with other Rocketfish WIFI and Blutooth devices. Now I'm looking for a single channelwireless kit to connect the rear speaker to utilize the complete the Panasonic's 6.1 capability. It's worth noting that 100' of 16awg speaker wire runs about $60 and then you have to hide the wires etc.
What's great about it: Easy setup, sound quality & volume
