I bought these headphones for $60 at my local best buy. I should of known better and want to kick myself now, but I needed them that night and best buy had terrible options compared to. I was previously using the g330 headphones again from Logitech and they only lasted a few months before the right ear was no longer producing any sound for no apparent reason and could not be fixed. So I bought these headphones and after 3 months or less they're already breaking. Where the wire connects to the bottom half of the mute box, the covering has pulled out and the wire is exposed, about to break if it gets moved too much. The wire is too thin, that design was terrible as the top of the covering was barely pushed under the cap, a really cheap design. I think these headphones would be fine for minimum use, but for someone like me that uses them everyday for 14-16 hours they just do not hold up. For $60 bucks though I would expect them to. Do not buy either of these if you use your headphones/mic as much as I do.
While I'm writing this review on these I should mention how irritating the left side is. The mic wire connects here and the mic sits under it, forcing the ear piece to drop down and sit on my cheek and there is no way to stop it. the right side sits in place nicely. I have to put a hair clip holding the wire up to the frame or else they'd just sit on my cheek. It seems like there should be a way to stop this because you can adjust where it's suppose to sit but I guess the mic is just too heavy and keeps pulling it down because nothing I tried would make them stay in place apart from relieving the pull on the wire with a hair clip.
This is my last Logitech product. Their stuff sound and works great, but they have some of the worst durability I've come across. I'll try to salvage these expensive headphones and hope I don't have to go buy some more, but if I do I won't even be considering Logitech.
What's great about it: Easy to set up, sounded great, mic was very clear
