This is an excellent washing machine!

Nearly whisper quiet, fast, and efficient. You can spend more money and get a bigger tub, or some additional features you'll never use, but this is right on point as a midline washer. BestBuy beat out every other store's price by at least $25, too.

Have an Installer Haul Away or Relocate your Appliance.

Best Buy has excellent delivery and haul-away service. Everything was installed, checked, and made sure working prior to the tech leaving. Would recommend and purchase again!

These stainless-steel washing machine fill hoses are ideal for connecting most washing machines to hot and cold water.

Excellent hoses! Braided steel, $30, can't be beat. Don't go with the cheap rubber hoses, get these.

It's terrible. It's slow, very plodding in its pace. It bills itself as a Western/Horror, but really has neither. There's a Western setting, to be sure, and there's some gore at the end, but nothing about it says Western and nothing about it says horror. The "Western" aspects are merely setting and window dressing (like old-timey sounding dialog such as phrases like "tincture"); don't expect to see cowboys or a slice of life in the West.
The actors seem like they are simply reading their lines and phoned in their performances. The writing is terrible. If you're interested in this movie, rent it first. I would NOT recommend a purchase, and would highly recommend you to save 2 hours of your life. But hey, it's your time and money.

Are the water connections plastic?
They don't come with water connections standard.
My advice is to spend the $30 and buy a set of 2 braided stainless steel connectors.

Is it normal that during the "clean" cycle the tub will spin for a second, stop. Spin for a second, stop... And continue on this process? I would think it would continuously spin during the wash cycle.
Nope, this is normal. By ceasing the spin, it allows the items to reorganize, thus washing more of them at a time.
If it constantly spun, the items would stay in their exact spots, stuck to the side of the washer tub.
Same reason why when you grind things like nuts or spices that you "pulse" a food processor. It gives you a more even mix.

This washer does not have a small/medium/large load size setting to choose from. To determine the amount of detergent to put in, are there sensors that can tell if my load is small/large or should I always be putting enough detergent for a large load?
It has a sensor to detect the load size.
If you are using a larger load, it's better to get all the items wet so the sensor works properly. The sensor doesn't work so well if 1/2 the clothes are in a dry state. But... you're probably overloading your washer if that's an issue. The only time I find it slightly problematic is if you're washing a single large item, like a queen size comforter. Get it all wet first, and away you go!
