This is a very dark and heavy metal album from Black Sabbath that will have you turning the volume up as you get lost in the big sound of this music. It is well written and there isn't a bad song on it. Tony and Geezer are (in my opinion) at their finest with the vast heavy growl of their guitars.Even though there are just 10 songs they average 5 minutes a piece, a total playing time of 54 plus minutes.James Dio's vocals go well with the sound of this music. My most favorite tracks are Bible Black, Double the Pain, Follow the Tears, and Breaking into Heaven. I recently just purchased this c.d. and was excited to see if they were possibly thinking of making another album when I found out on the internet that James Rio passed away from stomach cancer.
What's great about it: A very heavy metal c.d. that you WILL NOT get tired of!
What's not so great: James Dio sadly has passed away of stomach cancer.

If you like Monster Magnet at all, then your really gonna like this c.d! It does start out a little fast, but (On The Verge) will have you counting backwards with Dave as he sings the chorus.(The Right Stuff) is a fast paced riff, heavy in guitar that has him singing "my nerves are made of steel"in a metallic sound that goes well with the beat. The whole album rocks, with hardly any slow down in the beat.Although I like the origial versions of King of Mars and Venus in Furs (the two bonus tracks) better than these remakes. This is a Must Buy c.d. It will grow on you and your friends. You will replay it over and over.
What's great about it: Monster Magnet with it's best album yet!
