I bought this product because I had to and it was the least expensive. For ~$47 it satisfied a rqmt that I have a back-up power supply for non-life support medical equipment. I used it to Skype on my laptop away from roommates to prevent disturbing them at 3AM to preserve my short laptop battery life.
My less-than-stellar review concerns the product description. The specs provide Volt-Amp rating, size, weight, number of outlets, etc. I have no idea how to convert a 425VA rating to "approximately how long" it would power a generic piece of equipment like a laptop or desktop computer. If the description would give an approximate battery lifespan based on a current 15" laptop, wireless antenna on, no DVD/CD player active, monitor at full brightness I could choose a product more aligned to my needs. I'd have been satisfied with an estimate variance of 20% which is huge by industry standards.
What's great about it: It satisfied a medical rqmt so I could get a job
What's not so great: Runs a laptop for only 25 minutes
