I am thoroughly enjoying this CD! Once again these fellas have put together a masterpiece with lyrics that make you laugh from beginning to end, accompanied with the sounds of awesome metal. I am always a little hesitant when bands put out new cds, concerned it just might not be as awesome as before, but Space Vampires Vs. Zombie Dinosaurs in 3D did not disappoint. I also enjoyed the guests from Look What I Did. Definitely a treat!
What's great about it: The music, the lyrics......everything!

I am truly impressed with this album. It was definitely interesting transitioning from Psychostick to Evacuate Chicago, but not surprising in the least. While Psychostick is comical and likes to have fun with their lyrics they certainly take the musical part of their band very seriously, and it shows. So it makes sense that they would be able to pull off this album successfully. It’s nice to see the darker, serious side of these guys expressed through their amazing talents. The way each song is written tells its story very well and each time you listen to it, once you get an overall image of the song, you’ll hear something you didn’t hear before and that image changes. While you can get lost in the skillful, heavy drumming and amazing guitar riffs they include some really melodic and stunning guitar and vocal parts that are just as pleasant to listen to. To me it’s amazing when you can mix it up like that and it flows smoothly. I really like the entire album but favor 7. Proof of Dark Matter, 9. Velociraptors, and 10. Time Lapse Photography. I strongly recommend that you purchase this album. You’ll really get what you pay for. I look forward to hearing more from this band. IF, for whatever odd reason, you don’t care for the CD then pass it along to someone you think will and help EC get their name out. They’d do it for you! (And for something different check out Psychostick if you haven’t already – I recommend the Sandwich album but all of it is great)
