The Jungle Book surprised me. I thought it was going to be a bad remake, but it turned out to be very good. The visuals are amazing, as it won an Oscar for it. The performances were all great too. You should definitely see this one when you get the chance.

Beauty and the Beast is one of the best, and still remains to be, animated films of all time. The story, music, and everything is great. If you haven’t seen it, which most everyone has, you definitely need to see it.
Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the most beloved family film of all time! The Sound of Music is one of my all time childhood favorites. The movie brings me back to those days. I found myself singing along to the tunes that everyone knows and loves. If you haven’t seen the movie yet you definitely should, as it’s one of the best made.

Stronger was not a popular movie when it came out. It is such a good movie about one of the survivors in the Boston Marathon bombing. I feel that it is a movie people should see. You will most likely she’d some tears so be prepared.
Interstellar opens on Earth in the distant future, as Mother Nature is waging war on humanity. Famine is widespread, and all of mankind's resources are now dedicated to farming in a desperate fight for survival. A former NASA pilot and engineer named Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) has become a homesteader in order to support his teenage son Tom (Timothee Chalamet) and 10-year-old daughter Murph (Mackenzie Foy). Unfortunately, even that begins to look like a futile endeavor after a sandstorm ravages their close-knit community. Meanwhile, a seemingly supernatural mystery begins to unfold when the InchghostInch that dwells in Murph's room sends her a mysterious set of coordinates - which lead the curious father/daughter duo to a clandestine underground base housing the remnants of NASA. There, renowned physicist Professor Brand (Michael Caine) has been working with a team of astronauts and scientists to find a new planet capable of sustaining human life. Brand quickly persuades Cooper to pilot a mission that will hopefully carry the seeds of human life to a habitable planet in another galaxy. Cooper is soon bound for space with Brand's daughter Amelia (Anne Hathaway) and researchers Doyle (Wes Bentley) and Romilly (David Gyasi).

Interstellar had been one of my favorite movies for a long while. I finally got the 4K and it’s amazing. The cinematography looks beautiful with the visuals. The 4K is the only way to watch this movie!

Spider-Man: Homecoming is one of Marvel’s best movies yet and my 2nd favorite Marvel movie (Infinity War being first). Tom Holland is such an amazing actor and is perfect as Spider-Man. The 4K for this movie looks really good too. Even if you don’t like superheroe movies, there’s no way you can hate this one.
After years of honing his skills on the vaudeville stage, hoofer Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly) has finally reached the top and become a swashbuckling star of the silent silver screen. Then the self-satisfied celebrity has his confidence shattered when ingenue Kathy Selden (Debbie Reynolds) dismisses film actors as "shadows" without substance. After getting over the insult, he falls hard for her--much to the consternation of his costar, the sexy, selfish Lina Lamont (Jean Hagen), who wants Don all to herself. But Don has career troubles too. The wild popularity of The Jazz Singer has studios scrambling to change from silent films to talkies, and Lina's shrill voice and Don's stiff acting left the preview audience roaring with laughter. There's only one way to save the movie and their careers: turn "The Duelling Cavalier" into a musical, with Kathy secretly dubbing in Lina's lines and songs. But can they hide the truth from Lina? This special 60th anniversary collection also includes three documentaries about the film, which film critic Pauline Kael called "Just about the best Hollywood musical of all time:" Musicals Great Musicals: The Arthur Freed Unit at MGM, What a Glorious Feeling: The Making of Singin' in the Rain, and Singin' in the Rain: Raining on a New Generation.

Singin’ in the Rain is one of the most famous musicals and it is for a reason. It is such an enjoyable film that never gets old. I don’t know a single person who doesn’t like it. If you’re looking for a happy, feel good movie/musical, this is one you should check out.

The Lost City of Z (pronounced Zed) is a very underrated movie. It explores the expeditions of finding a city in South America. The profit an estate were great, especially Charlie Hunnam, Robert Pattinson, and Tom Holland. It is long and a bit wordy, but it is very good.

Black Panther is Marvel’s new installment in their Phase 3 of the anthology. This movie was really good. It felt more like a comic book/superhero movie than most of the other ones. Every character had great development and had a good purpose. They weren’t some character thrown in that wasn’t strong at all (ex: Darren Cross/Yellowjacket in Ant-Man). I really liked Michael B. Jordan and Andy Serkis as the main antagonists, more Michael though. Andy had a lot of fun with his role and was one of the best parts of the film. Michael did excellent with his part as Erik Killmonger. He had great development and you could see his perspective of things. He wasn’t just a bad guy they were up against, he was another character that you could feel for. I love Letitia Wright as Shuri. She was hilarious and such an interesting character. Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa was amazing. He was perfect for the role. I knew he was going to do great ever since Captain America: Civil War. The score by Ludwig Göransson was really good. The effects in the movie were pretty good, however there were some parts where they looked kind of incomplete. I really liked the cinematography in the movie. There was lots of color to the film, except for a couple scenes where it was hard to see what was going on. For me, parts of the beginning felt just a little slow, buts that’s only because they had to setup. Other than that I thought Black Panther was a movie Marvel needed and a great new face for superhero films. It is my third favorite Marvel movie now (1 being Spider-Man: Homecoming and 2 being Captain America: The Winter Soldier).

Lady Bird is such an amazing movie. It’s sad it didn’t win any Oscars. Ronan made her best performance and same with Metcalf. Gerwig did amazing with directing and I hope to see her direct in the future. Overall, it’s an amazing movie and should be watched!
