Stainles steel hoses are better than rubber. They are more durable, maintain water temps better, and don't leave black marks on your walls when you pull the machine out.

The only reason I'm not giving this machine 5 stars is due to the bleach dispenser. I prefer to add bleach to water in the tub, not via the dispenser. Too often, in previous machines, I've used that dispenser, and then had bleach dispense in other, non-white, loads. The positives though: due to no agitator in the middle, you have a nice big tub, which allows for larger loads; multiple settings that allow for proper washing for a variety of washable items; and music when it first is powered-up and a nice song when the washing ends. :-)

Why does this machine insist on hot water washes for all settings?
Will only dispense hot water to do wash? Any ideas?
Mine doesn't do that. Did your installers hook it up wrong? Perhaps yours is set at "hot" as a default setting. You should be able to select other temperatures, after you select the wash mode.
