I have been a huge fan of King Kong, both the original and the Peter Jackson versions. This is a new take on the Kong tale. I found John C. Reilly to be excellent in his role and brought some humor to a dark story. All performances were very good. Nice to see Tom Hiddelston as someone other tha Loki. Was able to really dislike Sam Jackson's character. Overall a very entertaining film.

I am a fan of Scarlet Johansen, but this movie left me wondering why she would do it. I had high hopes about the alien premise. But the story was lacking and the pace was vvery slow. Very boring.
