While Bluetooth does require slightly more work initials than just plugging in a USB, it makes up for it with time saved and a lack of cords to tangle. Apart from a lack of vibration function, I have no complaints about the Stratus XL whatsoever. It works flawlessly, and has a smoothness and precision to the sticks that most cheaper pads lack.
