The perfect solution

Installing my old home theater system in my new house posed a problem for wiring the rear speakers. After trying wireless soundbar speakers with no success, a discussion with the Best Buy floor rep resulted in the purchase of this little gem. Just connect the transmitter to the rear speaker outputs of your amp, and the rear speakers to the receiver and plug them into power and they work! No apparent interference from or to WiFi signals, and the link works through the metal frame of a reclining couch. I wish I knew about this set before the hassle of the sound bars.

Couldn't get it to work...

I wanted this speaker system primarily for the wireless subwoofer with satellite speakers. My house is old and wiring rear surround speakers in finished walls is very difficult.
The problem I had was the wireless link between the sound bar and subwoofer/rear speakers didn't work at all for the first set which I returned, and worked sporadically on the second set, which I also returned. It seemed any distance more than 8 feet is beyond the reliable range of the radio link. When I had the sub/surround set within 8 feet it worked reliably, but when placed where it had to be located the link would be lost.
