Sturdy, practical, esthetic, and well engineered

This is one of the best engineered "assemble yourself" products I've bought in years. The hardware is packaged in plastic pockets and identified by large printed letters, and the supporting documention is idiot proof. Everything lines up and fits perfectly. If you can't assemble this console, you probably can't tie your shoes either. The individual parts were well packaged and arrived in great shape.
The shelves are sturdy. Whalen even supplied touch-up pens which were unnecessary. I have to say their design engineers should be congratulated on turning out such a beautifully documented product made with a truly decent steel frame. I'm difficult to please, but this product surprised me. It's a real bargain if you can get the "closeout" price.

I was skeptical of Keurig individual coffeemakers when they first came out. Now I couldn't imagine my life without one. If you always want a fresh cup of coffee or tea or various other hot drinks, this coffee brewer is fabulous. It heats rapidly and allows you to pick between three cup sizes. There is wide variety of coffee types available, as well as tea, hot chocolate, cider, cappuccino, etc. It is easy to keep clean and looks nice. I watch for sales on the K-cups and stock up ... that way I get my fresh cup of coffee for around 50-60 cents. Since there is only one coffee drinker in my household, this is more cost effective that brewing a 4 to 8 cup pot and throwing much of it out. I've owned my first Keurig almost 4 years now and I've had no problems. This makes a great gift.

When you read ratings about food or drink items, always keep in mind that everyone has slightly different tastes. My favorite breakfast blend is Donut Shop. However, I do occasionally like to have a Starbucks breakfast blend, Green Mountain, or Caribou, just for a change of pace.
