I have been a final fantasy fan since FF VII and I can say that I am thoroughly enjoying this game. They did a great job of adopting the game to the current landscape of RPG's in the west while keeping the final fantasy flavor.
The Story is good and is enhanced by the movie, which I recommend you watch before you play. The Side quest can get addictive to do as they usually dont take up too much time or effort but keep you wanting to do "just one more"
