Me Pathfinder here [the Drive 60] has helped pave the way to my go to spots with easy planning and simple inserts of instructions. What the heck have I been doing with paper maps all this time. They crinkle, rip, get in the way and make lousy paper planes! This GPS is all I need now except money and gas to get where I need to go! YES!

as I said, this is a stand, I place it - wow - it stays. . . . . . unlike my dog. I place it on console and it be the just right spot to use and view when needed. I like!

Does this model have the option to avoid highways?
Yes it does, have been time I wanted the highway and it wanted to go back roads, had to re-educate it. Take a camera if you want to go back roads, maybe some nice shots on the way.
