Great little tv for under $100

My parents were looking for a TV to replace their 19" LCD Monitor/TV they had in the kitchen after 10 years of use. So gave them a couple because they couldn't see spending more than $100 for the TV so came down to options and reviews and this didn't disappoint. Has enough HDMI inputs incase they need to add an extra one besides the cable box. Also nice to have the apps so she can watch recipes while she cooks, pandora for music, and the oft chance she wants to watch movies VUDU is a plus.

Great for everyday entertainment

I bought this to be able to watch my various accounts including HBO GO where ever I choose to in my house and this works great. Don't have to worry about it taking up room since it's about the size of a USB drive. Easy to hook up and start right from the moment you connect. Glad I bought the standard remote instead of the voice because if you have an Iphone or Android phone, you're able to download an app that allows you to do the same as the voice remote and you'll also be able to search with typing in the keyboard vs using the up-down-side to side to select letters or numbers.

If I have direct TV account, can I log into the account and access it from the Fire Stick to watch on TV at work?
Yes and no. The yes portion is you'll have to link your DirecTV account to specific apps on there as there is NO specific DirecTV app unfortunately. Depending upon what channels you wanted to watch at work will also vary due to the select few apps there are. Some of the apps allow for live streams while most just have shows to replay.
