Works as expected but long cycles

Bought this to replace a 30 year old unit that failed on me. This washer seems to wash just fine but it takes over an hour to do a full load. Is that a good thing? I'm not really sure. I feel like any water savings is cancelled by extra electricity. My old machine would finish a cycle in 30 minutes. All in all this is an economy machine at an economy price.

connection is slower than expected but I am willing to assume this is the result of Comcast. Comcast tech installed for me and did all of the activation. The orange blinking status light is confusing, it makes you think theres a problem when really its just an activity light. For the price I can't complain.
