Lots of fun, but got boring

This game is a lot of fun, but the story felt odd at times (why am I doing this? I’m going where for what?). The gameplay is a lot of fun, and killing orcs is a blast. After awhile though I started getting bored. Maybe because I had restarted Shadow of Mordor shortly before playing this, so I got burnt out faster. Or maybe because I get distracted too much and don’t make much progress on the storyline after playing for 2 hours.
Highly recommend the game though. Loads of hours of game time. Lots of fun. Micro transactions are not necessary at all and are hardly even noticed honestly.

Great overall, but has flaws

I’ll preface this review by saying I am a huge Star Wars fan/nerd, and I also don’t play a bunch of multiplayer (for any game). I preordered this and haven’t regretted it. The offline/single player stuff is slightly lacking, but overall is still lots of fun. Couch co-op is my favorite game play and this is pretty good. I’ve played the multiplayer some, but I just don’t have the time to devote to that to actually be good.
I gave it 4 stars because I wish there was more single player. Campaign was very short and disconnected. Very limited maps. I wish they would add large area maps for the single player stuff, so you could get some real sniping action in. Also a single player mode for star fighter.
Recommend this game though, especially if you love Star Wars. Makes you feel like you’re in the universe. Excellent graphics and sound.

This is an awesome game! The sound effects and graphics are some of the best thus far on next-gen systems. That being said, BE WARNED! If you are expecting this to be Star Wars: Battlefront 3 (sequel to the old PS2 era game) then you're going to be disappointed somewhat. There isn't really any single player (survival maps and battles are the closest thing). It's definitely online multiplayer focused, like a lot of other games these days (personally not a fan, but oh well). That being said though, it is still fantastic. Fighter squadron is a lot of fun and the boots-on-the-ground maps are great too. Highly recommend! Hopefully they will come out with some good updates/DLC's as well.
