Black Friday deal was $47. The sound is better than I expected. It has a built-in subwoofer for bass which is pretty good for being so small. It has lots of connection options which I like. The instructions could be a little more detailed. I tried to hook up an external subwoofer and it didn't work. I don't know if the sub out is digital or analog and there is no explanation of this.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice turntable, but...

Great basic turntable. Has built-in preamp so you can use it with any amp or powered speakers. Caution: The USB connection of the turntable was a disappointment. It seems not to have been updated for current computers with 64 bit systems. Using Windows 10, I could NOT get it it to make a digital recording of an album and I'm somewhat familiar with computers. I didn't buy it to make digital copies, but it would be nice if it was possible.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not just for computers

These are great speakers. They have so many uses other than just for a desktop computer. I have them hooked up to a turntable to listen to vinyl records and they sound great! (the turntable must have a built-in preamp as many do these days). I also plug them into my cell phone to listen to music downloads, and also to the TV for movies! Basically, you can plug them into anything with a headphone jack.
I would recommend this to a friend!
