I though I would enjoy having so much control of the light system. But.....it requires two usb conections and one for house power for all that rgb lighting
So its configured with a thick cable from the keyboard that then splits up giving you three cables to deal with.
In addition this thing weighs a ton at 3.3 lbs. I use the keyboard on my lap so I never got the unit fully installed

This drive is a true 5 star. The fact that my first pick ended up being 5400 rpm was a real bummer and I dropped rating because of best buys misleading product description . I had already transfered my failing drive to the first one bought. From the very first boot if seemed sluggish so ran a utility that showed 5400 rpm.
Wipped contents and returned to bb.
Buyers beware not all hard drive product descriptions on best buy site shows rpm speed....if it does not show speed look elsewhere for speed. Don't assume a best buy 'desktop' hard drive description is 7200 rpm what you should always want which is what I did. Happy now but come on BB just post the facts.

needed motherboard 4 pin fan. specs on packaging said 3 pin and 4 pin adapter included.
the 3 pin would connect directly to the motherboard. I neded the 4pin to the motherboard but the 4 pin connected directly to the power supply bypassing the motherboards ability to control the fan.

reliable even though it just wonders around

new home needed daily tile, wood and carpet cleaning but to big for wife so we bought the 880 stuck the docking station under the electronics so it sorta blended in.
we tried a day schedule but it runs clicky clack over tile. so we went to a 1am start time.
We have three dogs 1 is a husky and does she sheddddd
I get to clean the 880 which we now call tha ROBOT.
It picks up so much dust bunnies and husky shedddding that it has to be emptied daily.
only one draw back. if your furniture is high enough to let the front of the 880 to just barely go under but the 880 is a little higher near the middle so it gets stuck. so no complete cleaning cycle
I fixed it by super gluing several rubber washers to each of the front obstacle bumpers which then makes the front of the 880 to high to go under the furniture and thus not get stuck. small fix to a big problem
