Speaking as a gamer in his 40's I was there in the beginning of the FF series and after FF-X it started to go downhill in my opinion. But I kept hoping and kept getting more and more dissapointed. I had no intentions of buying by this game but I kept hearing rave reviews about how fantastic it is and in a spur of impulse I downloaded it at 3am. Brief synopsis of the story, your a prince or something and I think you're on a road trip with your 3 buddies. You fight monsters, fish, take pictures, have long boring rides in a car that you can't skip listening to the same boring dialog repeated over and over again.
I thought about all the things in this game that were pointless and boring, the things that frustrated me and made no sense and it's way too much to type it all out. There is a lot to do in the game and it might be something that interests you but I can't think of one redeeming about it and would not recommend it.
