why won't black ink print (new 920XL cartridge) on 6500A printer?
Bought new 920XL black ink cartridge...installed it correctly...other three cartridges work well...nothing from black. Any answers?
I had the same problem once and the only thing I could think of was a defective cartridge. I was able to return it for a refund and got the 920 instead of the 920 xl and it worked find.

I have the same problem many others report, my HP6500A Plus Printer no longer prints black -- I have tried two new 920XL cartridges. I have cleaned, aligned, everything. No good.
I had the same problem once and the only thing I could think of was a defective cartridge. I was able to return it for a refund and got the 920 instead of the 920 xl and it worked find.

Why doesn't new 920xl catridges work in my HP Officejet 6500?
Old or refilled cartriges work fine but new one don't. The electric contacts at the base of the cartridge are different from my original cartridges.
I had the same problem once and the only thing I could think of was a defective cartridge. I was able to return it for a refund and got the 920 instead of the 920 xl and it worked find.
