This is my 3rd case for my Edge 7. I'm struggling with how wide & thin the phone is with cases. I started with a clear Speck case, but its too wide - it made my had uncomfortable. I like this Candy Shell case better - the grip feels much more solid. My main concern at this point is whether the extra grip will wear quickly as it is a different material than the rest of the case.

Nothing fancy, but plenty fast for a older machine

I have an older 2010 core i7 with a terabyte hard drive. My window's install was flaking out and I decided that it would be nice to upgrade to a SSD boot drive. Since I only have SATA 2, the drive maxes the bus out and a higher end, faster drive would not get me any more speed. Installed easily, BIOS recognized it, I reinstalled windows 10 to it - no issues, and it runs as my boot drive. I deleted the windows install off my terabyte platter drive and kept it as a data drive. Nice thing is Steam recognized the game files on the other drive and did not require re-downloading, the 'installed' the first time I ran them. A couple did need to download a file or two - I used the verify local file integrity checker in Steam. Made for a relatively painless upgrade.

Great Movie - but kind of weird

I love studio Ghibli so if you don't like any of their other stuff, you won't like this either. This is based on a Diana Wayne Jones book and is kind of weird, but its a fun movie. It actually takes some effort to understand what is going on, though, since the film doesn't hand you everything on a platter. Honestly, I didn't like it the first time I saw it, but my daughter convinced me to give it another look and I really enjoyed it.

I replaced a broken streaming stick with this Roku Premier. I was very happy with the speed and ease of use of the new Premier. I also have an old Roku 2 on another television in my home and the Premier out-performs it, solidly. I do wish it had a wired internet jack, though, as my router is only a couple feet away. I have no issue with the signal, however, so its not a big deal.

I bought it for my wife's computer so I could add a 2nd monitor. I used both the VGA and DVI jacks. Note that the DVI connection is DVI-D - digital only, so it cannot be converted to work with an Analog VGA jack. The monitors had both so I connected one with a VGA cable and the other with a DVI cable. It works, that's what counts. No frills - its not a great gaming card or anything but it does not claim to be.

Great value for a unlocked phone

I got this for my dad - he got his first smart phone about 2 weeks ago and instantly realized he wanted one faster and bigger. He had an old flip phone and a small 7 inch tablet that he used - he immediately saw that he could use a nice 5-5.5 inch phone to replace both in a single device that would fit in his pocket, but the one he got was too slow and a little small for what he wanted. I suggested the Huawei based on the review from Toms Hardware on the best value for a phone under $300. Its fast, has a reasonable battery, sizable screen and looks good. Note that Best Buy has a very limited supply of accessories. Also note that the EMUI modification to Android was a bit of a change that has taken him some getting used to, but we looked at that first. He uses the phone with Cricket. He noted that there is a gap in mid-priced phones available from Cricket - he didn't want an iPhone7 or a Samsung S7, and then there's a gap until you hit the low end phones. He was using a Samsung J3 (or the Cricket equivalent).

Works but not the most comfortable

The candyshell case for my Edge Plus works well - great fit, light and doesn't add too much to the dimensions of the sizable phone. It feels pretty protective and, while I have not dropped it (yet?) to give it the ultimate test, the case feels protective and secure. My only negatives are that I wish it was a little more 'sticky' - it slides easily which is not always a great thing for a case you don't want to easily slip out of your pocket. Also, the rounded edge leaves a 'thin' feel - like too thin for my grip. However, this I cannot blame on the case since if it was any thicker it would defeat the purpose of the 'Edge' features of the phone. I am happy that the top and bottom protrudes nicely so if the phone fell flat, the top and bottom would keep the glass from absorbing the impact.

Where in Europe can it be used or elsewhere in the world?
The Honor 8 is a GSM phone, which is the standard in most of the world. It does not come with a SIM card in it, so you would get a local one. If you want to be sure, I suggest you talk with the intended carrier and make sure the data bands match up - check the Best Buy website and look under 'specifications' and scroll down to 'network' - it lists the various frequencies and bands for data and voice that are supported.

Is this product going to change color over time?
I have avoided clear cases in the past for this reason. However, the rep explained to me that Speck had used an alternative material intended for the automotive industry that was intended to get wear, dirt and sun and still clean up afterwards for years. I cannot swear to this but I bought mine and so far it has stayed pristine as when I bought it.

Do I still need to use a screen protector, since I can supposedly use the phone while it's in this case?
I've only had my phone and case for a few weeks, but I hate screen protectors - they always seem to start peeling quickly or I mess up the application and catch some bit of dust under them. I do keep my phone in my pocket with nothing else, however. I would think if you keep it with your keys or in a pocketbook, you are going to end up scratching the phone without a screen protector. The S7 Edge has a very solid feeling screen; I don't think it will scratch easily. Side note: I got my wife the S7 Note at the same time and I notice that the Note comes with some type of screen protector already on it. Perhaps due to the stylus?

Will phone charge on a wireless charger, while this case is on it?
My Samsung Edge 7 charges fine with my Speck candyshell on a cheap Qi wireless charger I picked up online. No issues at all, although I have heard from some that a case makes the phone notably hotter when wireless charging.
