Like most gamers, I scoff at the idea of reading the instructions; I'm grew up in the 90s with computers! I know what I'm doing, forget these instructions I can just plug it in and go.
Nope, not the case here. You really do have to download the software off their website first like it says in the instructions, otherwise this HOTAS isn't fully functional.
But aside from that, great piece of hardware, haven't had any problems with it as of yet.

Having decided to make the foray into getting a smartwatch (and getting burned by the bargain basement stuff you find in the deep recesses of the Internet) I decided on the original Pebble as the most cost-effective entry.
While it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of an Apple Watch, it actually connects to an iPhone and does what it says it does (as opposed to the knockoffs I've tried previously). Therein of itself is my key factor in the high score.
App-wise, you've got a pretty good selection to choose from on the Pebble storefront, with apps to cover most everything you can think of (from sleep monitors to drink trackers) and then some. I also love going through the watchfaces and seeing what people come up with.

It is perfect for what I needed, which was a combination of sleep monitor, smartwatch, and pedometer, while being waterproof enough to handle swimming or washing my hands constantly.
Comfort:
The comfort level of the watch is amazing. I barely even feel it in my normal day to day routine. I love the fact that it comes with a guard to keep the wristband in place. It is extremely secure, and again, very comfortable.

The Vivosmart has the Garmin Connect app that will connect with the device to give you detiled information about the data it collects. This can include steps taken (which can vary depending on how your arm moves, but adjusts as you use the device over time. You can also manually adjust stride length with the app.) Miles walked, Sleep activity, Activities performed, workouts performed, courses done, and segments. The Workouts are done through Garminconnect.com. You create them there, then view them on your garminconnect app. the same goes for courses. Segments lets you race against other athletes and see how your times compare to theirs. The app also has a personal records and bagdes area to see your personal progress. The whole thing, from the watch to the App, is customizeable to fit your own needs. If you don't need to track sleeping habits, you can remove that function from the app as well as the watch, and put it on later if you change your mind.

Is this one of the models being bricked in march 2018 ???.
I don't believe so, but don't quote me on it. I saw that announcement as well and was a touch concerned considering I only just bought this model a couple weeks ago. But poking around at Logitech's site leads me to believe that it's a separate model from the one that has been announced as being discontinued in 2018.
I haven't gotten around to emailing Logitech Support myself, but I recommend that if anyone has questions they do so; get the answer straight from the source.

There's no camera on this device, so you cannot record video with it.
There are a number of apps that allow it to work as a remote for your phone's camera features, though!
