I do love the new third season, so rewatching this season reminded me how much the second season felt like filler. Some episodes were great and some seemed pointless. I wish the show would admit to it's origins premise more and move the story along in this season.

I read the book, so I was shocked at how slow moving they made the movie. Not that the book didn't sag in some places. But a movie should not take this long to get started. I kept self editing scenes where I realized they dragged on too much.
