I bought this device with high hopes, but immediately found I must have an HDMI connection. My television did not. I did have high def composite inputs so I purchased an HDMI to Composite cable, but the Apple TV wold still not work. I went to my local apple store only to find out it will only work HDMI to HDMI. I certainly won't going to buy a new TV just to use the Apple TV. (I have a 60" SONY rear projection TV that is working great)
I wish both the packaging and the sales people would have explained before I made my purchase or that Apple would make a more universally usable device. Even an ExBox can be used with an analog TV.

I was told by my store salesman that you could have as many as you need. I have six pairs for family viewing.

Will thses glasses work with a UN65JS8500?
I currently have one set of glasses and i want two more. Is the ssg-5150gb the only ones i can use or would these glasses work just as well?
I know wih my 3D glasses they are proprietary to the TV Brand. I would check with your local Best Buys store, if you have one, to be certain.
