This Pioneer BDR-XD05S external drive allows you to archive up to 128GB of data on BD-R QL media and up to 100GB of data on BD-R TL media, plus supports DVD and CD formats, so you can burn your favorite movies and music to discs.
Will this drive work from the USB 3.0 port for both power and data on a Surface Pro 4. I understand I will need additional software for the blu ray discs, my concern is that the usb connection may not have enough power for drive. What else can be done?

I believe the display color quality and view angles to be very good. I have not noticed the laptop getting hot from normal use.

If I want to burn a CD on my computer and I have a DVD-RW Drive, do I have to use CD-RWs to make an audio CD or can I use an 80 minute (700MB) CD-R?
I have a Desktop computer with Windows Vista Home Premium.
With a DVD-RW drive, you should be able to record data or music to CD-RW or CD-R.

This tower only has HDMI video output so you must have a monitor with HMDI inputs.
