I'm loving this mouse. Its mainly designed for MMOs and MOBAs, however it can be used for any other games and for daily use. It came well packed with a large braided type C USB cable, the mouse itself and a little tool (to reposition the side buttons). The wireless receiver is a tiny USB dongle and it came inside a small compartment on the back of the mouse (great for storing it when taking the mouse on the go and not losing it!).
Setup was easy, however it took me realizing one thing the first time. Once you download Corsair's iCue software, if you just plug in the wireless receiver and turn on the mouse, it will only recognize the receiver but not the mouse. I had to plug the mouse to the computer using the included cable, for it to finally recognize the mouse and download some modules (seems iCue is modular that way, it doesn't install all their products, just what it needs). Once that was done the first time, then I could unplug the cable and the software would recognize the mouse wirelessly.
The software is well done and looks good. It allows you to change several settings, like DPI, assign macros or keys, change the RGB colors etc. The main mouse buttons feel crisp and have a nice click to them. The side buttons feel good and they have texture to them so you can kind of know which one are you clicking and build up some muscle memory. I like that the whole button side panel can be slided back or forward with the little tool they include and set on the position that is the best for one. I have small hands, so the default position was great and allowed me to grip the mouse kind of on a "claw" type grip. If you have larger hand, you'll be fine too, as the side panel can be moved forward and locked in place. Great idea by Corsair!
If you play MMOs/MOBAs this is the mouse for you, with so many abilities to assign, it will be easy to have your main ones on the side buttons. It also works fine for other games, I use it for a couple of shooters and I assigned grenades, crouch, prone, abilities etc to them and worked great!
Battery life has been great and lasted me for long hours, you won't have to worry about charging it all the time, I usually plug mine overnight, but I didn't for a whole weekend and still had more than half the life (will last longer if you turn off the RGB lighting). There was not lag or any issue with their included dongle and their slipstream tech.
If you want to gain a competitive edge on your games, this is the mouse to get!!

Inky blacks and fast Hz for a good price!

Amazing unit. I'm surprised how much these TV's with so many premium features have come down in price. Love how Hisense has been able to cram in so many premium features on this midrange tv, but mainly these two: Full array backlight (mini LED) and fast HZ for gaming (144hz on two ports).
The TV came in very well padded in a large box, it was heavy but not extremely heavy. I got a similar TV from another manufacturer when they just barely started coming out with mini LED tech and that one weighted a ton, it seems the more time it passes, they are able to shrink down tech and make it less heavy and bulky. I was debating if I would wall mount this unit or not, but ultimately I put it on a large desk I have on my office, since it has super fast HDMI ports, it will double down as a media center and also as a computer screen.
Setting it up was easy and I was surprised they use the Amazon Fire TV system (which in itself is as skin of android). I have another FireTV at home so it was easy to setup with my amazon account. It has all the usual apps (Netflix, Hulu, Disney) and you can download more if you want and you can also sideload other apps if you know what are you doing. Performance was good and snappy, didn't notice any slow downs on the OS side.
Then I plugged my PC to one of the two 4K 144hz HDMI ports (you must make sure you have a HDMI 2.1 compatible port and cable). Only two ports (3 and 4) are of this variety, the other two are regular 4K 60hz ports). One thing I noticed is that the ARC port is only 4k 60hz. So if you plan on using, lets say a 5.1 or Atmos receiver, it will only pass through video at 4k 60hz (even if your receiver has, lets say, supports 4k 120hz ports), so if you plan on using a modern gaming console and want 120hz, make sure you plug them in directly to port 3 and 4 ON THE TV. It will still pass the audio through through the ARC port to your receiver. My PC plugged directly to one of the 4K 144hz ports reported 144hz fine available and also VRR (variable refresh rate) was available for a great gaming experience. I love the inky blacks, since this is a full array mini led screen, the LEDs on the back can turn off and on to give you great contrast and blacks and since I'm using a PC I don't have to worry about screen burn in (for a while I considered getting an Oled Tv as a PC screen, but the risk of burn in scared me away), since this is a LED TV there is no such risk, while still having great contrast and inky blacks!
If you are looking around for a good quality TV, with a full array dimming Mini LED feature and fast HDMI ports for gaming and don't want to break your bank, this is the TV to get. Oh, and I must mention, I was pleasantly surprised to see on the box that Hisense is giving a 2 YEAR WARRANTY on these! (while most manufacturers there, even big ones, only give 1 year).
Get one!

Amazing Nvme drive. It came well packed inside a box and inside a blister plastic. It comes with a black heatsink to dissipate heat already attached (this is great, as fast Nvme drives are very susceptible to heat and they start to throttle down their speeds when they get hot to protect themselves). You can also tell they used thermal pads in between the drive and the heatsink to transfer heat if you look at a certain angle.
Although they advertise it as a PS5 drive, it of course is a regular Nvme drive that can be used on a PC too. In fact, if you have a PC at home with a spare Nvme slot, I HIGHLY RECOMMED YOU PLUG IT IN YOUR PC FIRST (not just this one, any Nvme drive you get, no matter if its for a PC or console), then download Crucial's software (Crucial storage executive) and launch it to see if there a new firmware updates (usually makes improvements, fix bugs etc), because once you plug it in your PS5 console, it will stay with whatever firmware version the drive has. In my case, there was no firmware update so all good to go. I also did some speed tests (check my pics), and they were within the advertised speeds (there is always some OS overhead).
After that, I opened PS5, opened the little enclosure for Nvme drives and installed it. I'm sure am glad this drive comes with a heatsink, because that little enclosure on the PS5 its sure is going to be toasty for it. Then it was easy to just start the console, it recognized the drive and did some speed test to make sure it was within their required speeds. All good, and now I have around 1.8 Tb (OS always reserves some space) or so of more free space for my PS5 games!!! I have been playing games every day installed on the drive and I have not noticed any slow downs nor any problems.
If you want an affordable good quality drive, with included heatsink for your console, this is the one to get!

Amazing new mics by Sony! Was looking for a set of mics for our Karaoke parties but could never find good ones at a good price. These are a gift from the tech gods!
To start with, they are very well built and sturdy and feel great on the hands. They have built in batteries that according to Sony should last about 20 hours with a full charge. I charged them fully the first time with the included USB cable. I have not have to charge them yet, they are still going after a couple of karaoke nights, so don't know much the battery may last in real life, but so far they have not disappointed me. Using them was just plug and play, I plugged the receiver which has a typical fat jack for sound systems and the mics paired up automatically, no fuzz, and we got the karaoke party started. The sounds is super clear and their best feature hands down is their called "duet assist", that automatically balances the volume of each even when you have two people singing close by. I had my nephew and niece getting started and I was amazed there was no crosstalk or any of that annoying feedback sound you get with cheap mics, wow!!! We could hear the people singing clearly even when singing together. Now my nephew and niece are asking me when are we having a another party! They seem super sturdy and feel great, my niece dropped hers accidentally and it was like nothing happened, they are super durable so I know now I can bring them to parties without getting worried about them!!
If you are looking for a pair of great quality, wireless mics that offer great vocal clarity and no feedback/crosstalk, these are the ones for you; your karaoke party will be a great success!!

Fast, comfortable and easy to use!

Really well done gaming mouse. I was a bit apprehensive at first seen a Turtle beach mouse (I've know them more for their gaming headphones and game pads) but I was put at ease right away when I started using this mouse.
They include all you need in the box. A 2.4Ghz wireless dongle (USB type A), a dongle adapter (Type A to type C) so you can use the included cable to extend the reach of the wireless signal (I did not, it was plenty strong when I plugged the dongle directly to one of my PC USB ports on the back), a nice and long braided Type A to C USB charging cable, some stickers with a nice grip texture (in case you feel the mouse plastic is to slippery; which I thought I would need since I have dry skin and thought I would not have a good grip, but I have not needed to use those at all) and a quick start manual guide.
Setting it up was super easy, all I had to do is plug in the wireless dongle and turn on the mouse (I had some charge already) and it was working right away. The manual gives you instructions if you want to operate and configure the mouse without using their software (they call it driverless setup), which you can do. However I did download and install their "swarm 2" software to fully configure its features via it. Upon launching the software it detected an update for it and also a firmware update for both the mouse and the dongle, I let them go through. After that I was on to the races to configure it. There is lots of settings (and they are very well layered and each one has a small "?" to tell you what they are for). With it it was easy to configure the RGB lighting, DPI settings, polling settings, battery saving settings, calibrations (for your mouse mat) etc. They also support configuring each button and the very important easy shift button. With it you can enable a second layer of functions for each button (and even predefined macros, which very nicely they have a list of the most popular games out there to quickly configure). The software is very well done and does not take any resources or is bloated at all like other ones I have tried. The only con I feel is they have so many separated apps for each things (I have one apart for my turtle beach game pad controller, now another one for the mouse, I just wish the would consolidate their software in just one for all their products).
Ergonomically, the mouse feels great. I was a bit apprehensive since it looked chunky compared to other mouses and I have small hands, however I was able to have a great grip on it. Its designed to accommodate several types of grips (like claw, full hand on top etc.). All the buttons feel great when clicked and not wobbly at all. The mouse glides gracefully on my mouse mat (did do a calibration). The RGB lighting is great and you can configure it too, I have it set up so it tells me the battery levels. Battery life has been great and I just plug it in at night and unplug it during the day and has worked great. Really positively surprised by the quality and features, never thought Turtle beach would make great mouses!

Very nice Chromebook. It comes well packaged and they include a power brick, a type C USB charging cable and a quick instructions leaflet. It charges via the type C USB port and it has a status LED next to it.
Setting it up was easy. Being a Google ecosystem, you need google account, but its way easier to setup if you also have an Android based phone, if you do, it gives you the option to set up the Chromebook using your phone. They pair via Bluetooth and your Google account info is transferred and setup on the laptop. Very easy.
Hardware wise, its made of a nice textured plastic. The screen is bright, although has some narrow viewing angles, so you have to be looking at the screen straight up for better clarity. They keyboard is very responsive and its your classic chiclet type keycaps, a little con is that they are not backlit (not even one single color), so it may be hard to see if you are trying to type on low light or in a dark room. The touchpad is very responsive and it has regular USB ports, so I also plugged a generic USB mouse and it worked just fine. The speakers are good enough for this type of laptop. The Celeron CPU and the generous 4 GB RAM (plenty enough for a OS like ChromeOS that is super light and not bloated like other OSes) makes it snappy opening and closing apps. I only noticed a little bit of slow down when I had a large amount of tabs opened on Chrome, but that is it. It also has a front web cam and a privacy shutter that slides over it should you chose to.
Its a very useful Chromebook for home use or a student, it wont break the bank and its plenty enough for daily use for me. Battery life has been good, but I charge it every night when going to bed. If you need a laptop for school or just for light home use, It will work great!

Great extension cable. Its very thick and feels of great quality. Female side plug is very tight and seems to make great contact and seal (specially if you are using it outdoors this is important, for things like rain and water, while not waterproof, it goes long ways making a good seal, still I would be careful and keep it out of any rain or moisture).
The cable itself is very thick, it feels almost like those thick computer power supplies cables if you now what I mean. I like that its 16AWG and it s grounded, so any devices you have that require grounding will work fine with it. Being so thick and sturdy, its not that bendable, so make sure you can run it almost straight or with just some not so extreme bends. The only thing I would say as a con, is that the female side only has one connector, would have been great if it had 2 or 3 connectors, but I take it is designed to run well with just one device plugged to it. If you are looking for a thick, sturdy and good quality extension cable with ground, this is the one for you!

Finally and OTC hearing aid that is simple to use! I'm really loving these. They come in a small box inside a charging case. They include a simple to read start guide, a full on manual and some QR codes to watch instructional videos. They also include a short type C USB cable and a small power adaptor for it (however they will charge with any USB type C power cable).
In the past I have tried other OTC hearing aids and most of them are very complicated at the setup. You have to download an app, pair it with your phone/tablet, use an app to further control them, take hearing tests etc. While this is fine for someone like me that is very tech savvy, most people that are experiencing some sort of hearing loss/degradation are older folks, and most are not that tech savvy. In my case, I'm not that old, but have some degree of hearing loss so those easy to use. But I'm 100% sure an older folk that isn't that much tech savvy will truly appreciate these. These don't need to pair to anything and you don't need to use a phone or app at all, they work completely stand alone.
Once you charge them, as soon as you take them out the charging case, they turn on and they are ready to be put on. They include several sizes silicone pieces so you can customize them depending of your ear canal shape/size so they fit snugly. They also include a cleaning brush and ear wax guards to keep them clean.
As soon as you take them of the carrying case you put them it. Try to adjust them until they are snuggly in and they try keeping the volume down so you don't get any nasty feedback screeching sounds.
Once in, they are easy to operate, each one has a button on top, that if you press once you will change the volume (one beep, two beeps etc indicate the volume level). If you press and hold the button, you will hear a boop and the number of these will indicate the mode. There are very handy modes, one mode is for conversations, another for a restaurant setting, another for TV watching and so on.
They work really good and have improved my hearing and they are super discrete too. Using them is simple once you are done using them you just pull them by the little antenna and put them back in the case for charging (they the way, the charging case needs to be plugged in to charge them, it does not charge on the go) and it has indicator lights for battery charging level. Battery life is great and I use them all day long and put them back to charge overnight while I sleep.
If you are looking for simple to use without complications OTC hearing aids, I highly recommend these, specially for non tech savvy folks!!!

Finally earbuds that stay put while working out!

Been trying to find small enough, with good sound quality earbuds, but could not find ones that will stay put inside my ear canals while working out, finally found the ones with these!
I don’t know what’s about my ear canals, maybe I sweat a lot or have some ear wax, but whatever earbuds I tried, none would stay put inside my ear canals and will eventually fall down while working out (they would stay just fine all day, but my problem was when working out, either running or lifting). I did not want to use headphones while working out either, that would be yucky while sweating and all that.
These finally solved my problems, and I have been using them exclusively only while working out (after a while I tend to fell a small discomfort with these if I use them for a prolonged time, even trying all the sizes cups, but they are just fine for my workouts).
They came neatly packed and I love how the charging USB cable is attached to the case and just flips out, so no losing it. Apart from that the case also charges wirelessly just fine too.
Pairing them with my phone was super easy and they can work like that just fine, but I also recommend downloading their app, as you can further customize them to your pleasure. You can change EQ tunes, create a custom one etc. I love that you can just swipe on them to perform different functions too (like answering call, ending call, volume etc). Audio quality is great and volume is plenty. Sometimes when running they move inside my ear canal and some of the seal is lost and reduces the ANC effect (active noise cancelation). Maybe my weird ear canal shape or something but at least they don’t fall off to the ground while running, which is what I was looking for. A little nudge to tweak them back into place solves that issue.
If you are looking for earbuds that stay in place on your ears while working out, I highly recommend them!

Great memory if you are looking to upgrade or build a new system. Comes inside a slim pack. I love that it’s all black and without all that RGB no sense. If you want a sleek and sleeper build without RGB, this is it. Both sticks are of 16 Gigs each totaling 32 Gigs. They have a nice and slick heatspreader that has like a stealth fighter look, keeping the sticks cool. I love that they have both XMP and EXPO profiles for simple once click setup. (XMP for intel systems and EXPO for AMD AM5 ones). I have Ryzen 7 7800x3d and a x670e motherboard. Once installed, it was as easy as entering the bios and selecting the EXPO profile to get them to run at 6400MTs. Granted, this makes the system memory controller run in a 2 to 1 mode, very few CPUs can run at 6400MTs in 1 to 1 mode, depends if you win or not the silicon lottery on your CPU. Mine was able to run uclock and mem clock in 1 to 1 mode just fine, but YMMV. Still, even though you can’t, you can always downclock them to 6000Mts in 1 to 1 mode tightening the timings for good performance and still have a nice 6400Mts kit for future AMD chips with faster memory controllers! Since they also have an Intel XMP profile, you can use them in with Intel systems if you move onto such system.
If you’re looking for a fast RAM kit, easy to use and with no RGB nonsense, this is the one for you, 16Gigs doesn’t cut it anymore these days, so 32Gigs is the new standard, go for it!
