Compact dash cam.

Really nice kit. They include everything you need to get you started. Inside the box there is the main front camera module (I was surprised to see there was already a 64 GB micro SD card already inserted on the module, nice!), a long and thick cable that will connect this one to the rear camera (one side is a micro USB and the other mini USB, being 2025 I think they should have been type C USB), the rear camera itself, a 12v cigarette type plug for power and a direct wiring power (if you use this one, since the camera will have constant power, it will allow it to enable the parking features, where it can record if anyone hits your car while parked, this will drain some battery, however it has protection, the app itself lets you set a cutoff in volts. You may need some slicing and splicing to connect this one). They also include a plastic pudgy type of tool (this one was vital, it helped me pry and move the weather stripping and liners on my car so I could route and hide the cable for the rear camera), also double sided tapes to mount the camera on the glass (another small con, I would prefer a suction cup type of mounting system).
I have had experience with older dashcams, so installing it was nothing out of the ordinary, it just involves learning how to route cables around your car's weather stripping/liners. The only hard part would be to use the "permanent" wiring for power if you want to use the parking features, however Thinkware also has an OBD cable that just plugs onto your OBD port to provide power while parked, If you don't to do any slicing and splicing, you can buy it on their website. If not, there is the included cigarette plug one, simple as that.
Once plugged to power, setting it up was super easy. Just download their app, once you start the power, it will say its doing some diagnostics and then you just hold the blue Wi-Fi logo button, then it pairs to their app. Once in, you can have a live view (since the camera does not have any screen, this maybe a little CON for your, for me it was ok, who doesn't have a smartphone, plus this allows the CAM to be smaller and inconspicuous). You can view the recordings, change a ton of settings (like the voltage cutoff for your cars battery for the parking feature, love that this setting is something you can choose). The cam will do loop recording, over older footage. The quality during the day was good and also good at night, you can enable HDR recording. The dash cam also has an integrated GPS so you don't need an external module and it will give you speed and red light camera alerts. The front also has an extra empty connector for their radar module, if you buy the extra accessory, it will further enhance the parking feature with a radar sensor for an extra buffer recording so you have extra footage leading to a hit while parked in example.
If you want a small, compact, inconspicuous dash cam and are willing to forfeit a screen, knowing you'll need a phone (or removing the micro SD card) to see your recordings, this is the one for you! For me, its perfect!

Comfy and great with great features
on October 18, 2025

Good headset, with great features for the price. The headphones themselves are comfy and the padding is made of fabric and its the best part of them, they are super comfy and I sometimes wear glasses and they were good with them. They can be adjusted by just releasing the Velcro straps on the headband, simple as that. The biggest CON I found out is the cable is not removable, so you got to be careful, if you break or it frays, you are done, there is no replacing it.
This model comes with a USB/DAC sound card, however since the headphones use a cable with a TRRS combo jack they can be used without the DAC with any device that takes a combo TRRS conector. If you use the USB sound card on a PC, you can install their Swarm 2 software that will give you more features. It will also install an audio driver that will give you access to all the features (including their 3D audio). The software also includes the ability to mix game and chat volume (unfortunately only via their software, there is not dedicated button or wheel for this on the headphones themselves, the headphones only have an analog volume wheel). The software is really good and has also EQ, their "superhuman hearing" feature that supposedly will give you an advantage on competitive games, also they give you their Waves 3D audio (I tried it and its pretty good and immersive for story driven games). You can also adjust mic monitoring (sidetone) where you can hear your own voice when you talk (again, only on the software, no button on the headset). The mic is very flexible and you can flip it up to mute it quickly.
Sound is pretty good and sounded clear and not bloated, the great thing about their software is you can either use one of their EQ presets or you can customize and create your own EQ so this is great. Really liking them but the biggest win, at least for me is the comfort, specially with glasses!

Great printer for the home or SO-HO
on September 24, 2025

Really good and simple to use printer. Came neatly packaged and they include all the ink colors to get you started (black, cyan, magenta and yellow), a power cable and little card telling you to use their phone app (I rater setup my printers using my PC, and that's what I did). The only CON I see is they do not include a printer USB cable in case you want to hook it up via USB, you have to get your own.
Setting it up was easy and I had their Print&Scan windows app set to go. Inserting the ink cartridges was easy and run a test an alignment to make sure it was printing good. The printer has a large tray for paper. It has a scanner bed, however I love that it also has an auto feeder on top. You just put the pages/papers in there you want to scan or copy and it will just feed itself page by page, no more having to open the bed, put a paper, scan and repeat again, nice!
I also love that it has a double sided printing feature and it does it automatically. I know paper is cheap nowadays, but sometimes you just want to save some trees or keep a document low on pages, so you can now just print both sides of each paper, loving it!!
You get a trial of their Brother refresh service, where it will auto ship you ink when you need it, afterwards they have some tiers depending on the amount of pages you print. Print quality was good for an inkjet printer and it really prints fast as they advertise. If you want a cost saving and good printer for home or a small-home office, go for it, it wont disappoint you!

Easy to use, smart and cleans good!
on September 20, 2025
Posted by: JamexRZ
I'm really impressed with the robot. Came in a compact box with a charging station and a couple of cleaning kind of stars that you fix onto the robot (nice to have a spare). I'm really impressed with it, because I have tried other robots in the past, and they all had issues going over my rugs (I have plenty on my place), they all got stuck or rolled the rugs. Not this little guy. I guess technology has improved and I can see this one has good clearance underneath too. It goes over and cleans my area rugs with absolutely no issues.
Setting it up was easy, however it requires the robot to be charged. I left it charging for while and the I was onto the races. Using their phone app it paired quickly with my phone and then I gave it my Wi-fi network credentials. Then it was ready to do my place mapping. This step is important and they recommend and I do to, you try to clear its path as much as you can (pick up any shoes, toys etc., that may be on the floor, that ways it allows the robot to go to as many places it can so it can make a good initial map of your place). It took a while to finish and then it returned by itself to the charging station to charge.
After that you can just send the robot to clean your whole place, however the app also lets you designate zones (i.e a prohibited one, were you don't want the robot to go), set cleaning schedules etc. The robot also has 3 power modes, one eco, normal and the strongest one. I just left it on normal (it will remember, but you can change it anytime you want). It cleaned my place real go, so much to the point that I had to empty its basked afterwards and it was completely full with dust, lint and hairs!! (it was easy to remove, my only gripe is you have to turn the robot off to do so, as per its instructions, don't know why). While cleaning its not super loud, however it does make some noise, you will know its doing its thing. If your place is large and it cannot do its full place cleaning in one full battery charge, it will return to its base to recharge and then it will resume its cleaning. On my case it was able to clean my whole place with some battery to spare, like 30%.
I'm really glad to see how much these robots have improved, or maybe its Sharks tech! But if you want a robot that really cleans and does not get stuck on rugs and other stuff, this is the guy for you. Oh, and hey, you can name your robot any way you want, I name mine "Steve McClean!".

Amazing little portable speaker. Came in a small box and felt super sturdy. They include just a charging USB cable. Once you have it on your hand, it feels amazing. Has like a silicone feel and feels well made and sturdy. I love they include a removable strap, this I use all the time when I go on my bicycle rides out in the woods. Normally I wear earbuds but when I go out to the woods, I don't like using them, so this speaker lets me still listen to music. Speaking of, the volume and and sound quality are great. Sound is crips and has some bass to it. I love that I can crank up the volume super high and it will not distort, I have tried up to 90 and it was ok.
I do like to fully charge my electronic devices when I get them, and I fully charged this little guy (glad it has a new Type C USB port), and wow, it really took a long while to fully do so (you don't need to, just some charge will give you plenty of music time), but I'm OCD like that. Once fully charged I connected it to my phone via Bluetooth. I'm very impressed on how fast it connects to it (I don't know if its my phone or the speaker, but I have other devices and they don't connect that fast...).
Battery life has been amazing and had only had to top it off here and there before using it. They have their own app with some settings like EQ, updates etc. and you can program their shortcut button, I have mine setup to launch my Spotify. If you want a small portable speaker with great quality, durability (its weather proof) and battery life, this is the one for you!

Great sound and easy connection

Great headphones with lots of connectivity options. Came in a small box, included are the headphones, a USB wireless dongle and a Type C USB charging cable.
The headphones themselves can work on a PC or an Xbox mainly (box says can work on other systems too). I'm mainly using them on my Xbox Series X, however I highly recommend to plug them in a PC at least once, if you have one. Because their Corsair iCue software will detect them and update any firmware (fixes bugs, gives new features). Mine did have a firmware update on the PC. It was fast to update the dongle firmware, but the headphones firmware took almost 10 minutes (had to plug them directly via USB cable to the PC). Once updated they can be used on a computer, however there are some caveats: 1- the game to chat volume level feature does not work on PC, 2- they don't have their "soundID" feature that the regular PC version of these have.
They are mainly for the Xbox and they work great there. You double press the power button and the LED light should change (white for PC mode, green for Xbox mode). On the Xbox they do support game/chat level feature (where you can turn down or up the volume of your party chat, separated from the game volume, lets say if your friends are shouting and you can't hear well the game you are playing). They also come with a Dolby atmos license so you can use spatial audio (on the PC, it disables the option to use the EQ on iCue, you must use the one in the Atmos windows app).
Comfort is great, the ear pads are made of a type of velour material, they are breathable. They can get hot naturally, however they are not sweaty like a leather type one. I use glasses and they were comfy too. The adjustment system is clever, there is a strap on top that you can undo via Velcro straps and that decides how tight you want them on your head. I love the mic, as it flips up and down. When up, it mutes the mic and a red light glows on the mic tip. If down, mic works and there is a white light (the light isn't obtrusive at all, but if you want you can turn it off on their iCue PC app). Battery life has been outstanding. It lasts forever I have only needed to charge them during the weekend after a 3 day gaming session. With a flat EQ, noticed the sound is on the warmer side, and bass was good but not overwhelming. Mids and trebble were good too. They are closed back type headphones.
They are really good for Xbox gaming (pc too) and super comfy, if you are looking for great build quality, outstanding battery life and good sound, these are the wireless headphones you need!

Direct drive goodness!!
on September 1, 2025
Posted by: JamexRZ
Amazing Sim racing bundle. I'm so happy Moza produced a reasonible priced bundled and direct driven at that for us PC gamers!
Came very well packed and I was surprised to see that the pedals were ready to go, I was expecting putting them together but no. They include the break and gas pedals (you can add a clutch pedal later if you want). The wheel and the direct drive motor. Finally a desk clamp. They also include several nuts and bolts and a very basic quick start guide. Here is my only CON. The quick start guide is so bare in terms how to install everything and doesn't even mention what bolts are for what. I had to watch a video to figure out only 4 bolts and washers were needed to attach the motor to the desk clamp. All the other nuts and bolts are more for if you want to attach the stuff to a base or one of those cop kits and add more pedals and stuff.
Once had everything installed, I plugged the USB cable to my PC and the power brick to a power outlet. It came alive, you can start setting it up using your phone downloading their app and it connects via Bluetooth, however this is not a must, if you want you can skip that and just download their PC app, which I did. Once opened, it activated my device and then warned me I had to run a calibration of the pedals and wheel and centering. There was also a firmware update (bug fixes) for the hardware itself, this took a bit to do but its worth it. Then I was onto the races (pun intended).
WOW! Hands down the best racing kit I have owned. I've had some of the popular ones out there that were belt drive, and I must say, direct drive is where is at. I could feel every little bit of over and understeer, the torque everything! Its just able to communicate to the driver much more than a belt driven kit. Powerful too, it was rattling my stuff on my desk, so I'm definitely going to get one of those foldable metal frames to put out and away when racing (don't have the space for a full on copkit yet).
The software is amazing and well done and it will autodetect also any racing games you have installed and will auto configure them for you if you want it so. You can also add and configure more things to the kit easily, like a clutch pedal, a manual shift pole, dashboard etc and they all just connect directly to the motor on the back (granted you get them from Moza for this R3 kit, as addons). I'm planning on getting a clutch pedal and a shifter for sure, because I'm old school lol, I love me so heel and toe' action!
This is be most reasonably priced direct drive kit I have seen out there for PC, so just get it, its built like a tank and quality is incredible!

Amazing mounting solution!
on August 27, 2025
Posted by: JamexRZ
I must say, however came up with this idea, must get a raise! This solution is great for anyone that maybe got a used TV that didn't come with feet or cannot make holes on the wall to mount it using conventional wall mounts.
Came in a small box, however heavy, this gave me an indication of how good the materials must be. And indeed, all the parts are metal and sturdy. It came with all the needed parts to fix it to my TV.
At first, I though I would just replace the standard feet of my TV, but upon reading more into it, found out it actually mounts to your TV using the standard VESA wall mount holes in the back. This is a genius solution, since those are a standard, as long as your TV has the one this use (there are many spacing variations, so check first) it should fit.
On my case, I need to get my TV as high as I could because of neck problems, that is the best viewing angle. But to make matters worst, I did not want to make holes on my wall. Enter this solution. Installing it was easy and they provide several bolts and screw sizes and also spacers... why? Well some TV's back are curved, others flat, and others have their inputs (hdmi ports etc) really close to the feet back metal parts, so if that's the case, those will give you the proper spacing. My TV's back was flat and there was not problem with the ports. I installed them and you can tune the heigh, it goes very high and was perfect for my viewing situation. I did worried a bit about how high it was, thinking it could maybe topple over or something like that, but the base of the feet are plenty wide to prevent that, plus they include soft adhesive pads you can stick to the top of the feet base to provide a soft surface to place a sound bar on top without scratching it!
Definitely a great solution if your TV is missing feet or you cannot wall mount it or don't want to!

Amazing no frills game pad
on August 20, 2025
Posted by: JamexRZ
I'm really happy with this controller. After having tried many out there this is on of the few ones that feel sturdy, built like a tank and with no frills (like unnecessary screens and features).
It came on a small box, they include the USB wireless dongle, a large braided charging USB type C and A cable, an extra set of taller thumbsticks, a cover for the buttons on the back. Customizing these is very easy, the whole face plate comes out (which you can change if you want a different color). Once you do pop it out you can change the thumbsticks. Also per their webpage, the batter is easily accessible this way, so if it dies or you need a new one in the future you can access it just easy like that from the front to replace it. The thumbsticks are the new hall effect type (they use magnetism) and unlike the regular ones (potentiometer), these don't fall prey of the dreaded stick drift over time.
The triggers feel amazing and you can also customize them to but super responsive, almost like a mouse click (good for shooters) or the traditional way that the more you press them, the more it activates an action on a game (good for racing games i.e.). The face buttons surprised me too, they are super responsive and have little travel to activate. I was expecting the regular long travel and mushiness from regular controllers, but not here, precise and super fast actuation, had to kind to acclimate to that!
Once you charge it and plug it on the PC, Corsair's iCue software is needed to further customize the control. It will also check if there is any new firmware updates. I was a little apprehensive about iCue, its been many years since I have use it and I remember it was kind of "bloaty". Well, it seems they have been at work with it and now seems modern and easy to use. With the software you can customize the triggers amount of travel, when they actuate etc. Also the back buttons (great for driving games). The controller also has 5G buttons on the front you can customize them to do whatever you want (they have some presets out of the box), think of them kind of like macro buttons. Finally you can customize the RGB lighting, which can be turned off too. They have pre made profiles in the software (like for shooters, racing, adventure games etc). However you can create your own, and the best part, you can save them to the controller itself (I think you can save up to 3 or so, so lets say you want to take it to your friends place, the preset are saved on hardware, so you don't need to install iCue there).
If you want a control with great features, that feels amazing and sturdy this is the one for you!

Great sound and easy to setup!
on July 31, 2025
Posted by: JamexRZ
I'm really happy with this soundbar. Came nicely packaged and its thick (wide) and heavy (does not feel cheap like other soundbars out there). The subwoofer is wireless and feels heave and sturdy too.
Setting it up was super easy. They include to removable power cords (for the soundbar and for the woofer), an HDMI cable, remote control (batteries included), manual and metal brackets so you can wall mount the soundbar out of the box, all included!
Once I plugged everything to power outlets, turned it on and the woofer paired automatically with the soundbar. The soundbar has two HDMI ports (one is an ARC one and the other a regular HDMI in port). It also has an optical in and USB in. Right away I downloaded their TCL phone app and it detected the soundbar right away (it connects via Bluetooth to the app, no Wi-Fi). With the app you can check if there is a firmware update or not (none needed in my case). After that, it uses your phone's mic to do an "Ai" tunning, kind of tuning the sound to your surroundings and listening position.
The soundbar has several EQ modes (nigh, movie, game, voice) etc. and you can also adjust the bass and treble levels individually. Sound is amazing and the woofer hits hard and clear, no distortion. The soundbar supports Atmos (although I did not see any upward firing speakers, it does a good job at simulating the height channels and surround). I like the night mode and voice mode so I can listen clearly at what is being spoken during the night without the rumbling base so I don't wake up my family when I'm watching content at night.
Definitely great soundbar and super easy to hook up and setup, one of the simplest install I have done. Plus, they include all you need if you want to wall mount it!!!

This is ther 2nd-gen Razer Huntsman mini .?

There is no first version. This is the first time Razer gets out a 60% keyboard. You must be confusing it with the Huntsman Tournament edition (that one is a ten keyless version, bigger than this one).

Experience high-quality audio with this Arctis Pro + GameDAC gaming headset system. An Arctis ClearCast microphone delivers background cancellation and voice clarity for use with multiplayer co-op games, while the ski goggle suspension headband allows for a comfortable fit. With premium Hi-Res speakers and a dedicated DAC and headphone amp, this Arctis Pro + GameDAC gaming headset system offers dynamic sound quality through your desktop or laptop.

How long is the cable to go from the DAC to the headset? Would i be able to purchase a longer one and still get the high quality sound?

It's long enough, It's about 3 feet, just a tad longer. And, no, so far there are no replacements available from steelseries as its a new product (some guy in the official steelseries reddit asked for a replacement after his cat chewed his cable and they told them, sorry no replacements yet). So better take care of it and hope there are replacements soon.

Add stability to your home network with the Amped Wireless HELIOS-EX Wi-Fi Extender. With DirectLink technology, it avoids signal loss by adding another 5GHz Wi-Fi channel to the standard setup, which it then uses strictly for receiving signal from the source. This Amped Wireless HELIOS-EX Wi-Fi Extender covers an area of up to 12,000 sq. ft. and includes four Gigabit network ports.

Can it use the same SSID as my TWC modem?

No, however you can have the extender kind of clone your SSID close to it. I.E if you SSID on your original router is "ONE" the extender would be "ONE_RE" for the 5ghz and "ONE_RE_2.4" for the 2.4 ghz.

Add high-end performance to your everyday life with the Google Pixel XL. A quad-core processor, a 5.5-inch LED screen and 32GB of memory ensure this phone is able to handle daily life, and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protects the screen. Easy cloud storage ensures you never run out of space on the Google Pixel XL.

there are conflicting answers as to whether the verizon model will be locked or not. purchase would be at full retail obviously

Phone is sim unlocked. I popped in a tmobile sim card and worked fine. Google search the latest official statement by verizon and google: The verizon phones are sim unlocked, verizon will not get in the way of updates (meaning these phones will get updates from google directly and fast as any other pixel bought directly from google) and if you boot the phone with a verizon sim card, it will download just 3 verizon apps, however they are fully uninstallable.

Does your Best Buy Pixel phone have the Verizon crapware on it?

It doesn't. Per previous nexus phones, it depends on the sim card installed upon first boot. If you have the verizon sim card (it comes preinstalled) it will download just 3 apps, @@however they are uninstallable@@. If you remove the verizon sim card, and use another sim (the phone is sim unlocked by the way) from another carrier and turn it on, it will not download the 3 verizon apps.

Has anyone watched a football game on this topic? Wondering how it handles motion blur. Thank you

I watch soccer games, and its great. I has an special "sports" mode (although to much saturation on color, but you can tune it). Didn't notice any motion blur at all.
