This is my second bluetooth speaker, I also have the JBL Charge 2. This one has better base and clarity at higher volume in my opinion. Also looked at the JBL Xtreme. It is a very nice speaker too, but the UE Megeboom edged it just by just a hair and was $50 off when I was looking to purchase. So.....UE it was. Very happy with purchase.
