It takes a bit to sync with the tablet. My Sansung Tab S generally powers itself off within a few seconds of turning on if I don't get the psw entered real fast, so I can't wait for the keyboard to work (I have to use the screen display to key the psw). 'Maybe it's the tablet's fault and not the keyboard's?

I highly recommend this Garmin holder -- It stays put on the dash way better than the old suction cup ones that had a sticky pad (which caused permanent damage to a dash when removed).
