My nieces and nephews love it

When I first saw this game what immediately came to mind was "Ok, here's a collection of tech demo objectives used to test functionality during development and then turned into minigames". I'm still fairly certain that is what actually happened. That being said, you do get 28 minigames instead of 5 or 10, so there's a good amount there. Is it $50 worth of minigames? I'd say no. $30? I'd still say no, but for your average 'gamer' in mind. If you have a few nieces and nephews, like me, this can be right up their alley, though.

Enjoy fast-paced action with Super Bomberman R for the Nintendo Switch. Race around new and exciting levels while destroying enemies and the obstacles in your path. Bomberman has been around over 3 decades. Konami has made many, many titles in the series. So they really should have this down by now. For this entry they do and don't. The 'do' is that it is classic Bomberman action. Hard to mess that up. The 'don't' lies in the presentation. Many stages are colorful to the point that it makes it difficult to distinguish the stage, which can make things difficult as you need to make very sure about your placement in rows and columns for safety and whatnot. Also, the odd 3/4ish view can make such trying also.
Overall, I'd recommend this game, but not at full price. Grab it if you're a fan of the series at $30 or less.

A game greater than 'itself'

This game really is great and it can be separated into nearly two distinct games. The 'main story' portion is actually rather short compared to Zelda games of past, but the 'additional' content is extremely huge and plentiful, enough to be it's own game in itself.
Is it great? Yes. Should you buy it? I highly recommend so.

Pokken Tournament is what many Pokemon fans have been wanting, a legit fighting game centered of Pokemon. Nintendo delivers, they do. The characters are unique enough to where you can't play all the characters the same way. It's a good start and all I'd primarily want from a sequel is a larger roster.
