I bought two of these for my new house. This was the first time I have ever mounted TV on a wall. The instructions were easy to follow and they went up easy. The only complaint I have is in the measurement for the height of the tv.. it was about 5 inches off where I wanted the center of the TV. Now it could be because our tv's are quite old and the center may be different than newer sets.. but still it went up ok.

it connects and uses the power from the controller. Ive found it reduces play time about a hour less than without the headset plugged in. I play about 3 hours a night and don't have to set the controller on my charger but once a week.
