We have had echo since they first came out and two dots since they were first released. Just added four more dots. Kids can ask it questions for homework and even just how to spell something (I've been replaced). We use it for home automation as well, very convenient. of course this requires more hardware. I tell it that I'm going to bed and it shuts off the TV, locks the doors, checks the garage door and shuts it if still opened, turns the heat down and shuts off all the lights except the ones needed to get to the bedroom which it turns on. I can tell "her" to shut those off when I get there. My only beefs are my kids like to tell "her" to add things to my to do list, like "grow hair" and if you have it play music they are not linked, so even if you pick the same content they play different things in each room.

So far a pretty good television for the price. only downside is only HDMI 1 allows 4K/UHD input, but if you use your receiver to switch inputs, as most do, it isn't a problem.
