We purchased this unit in order to have an Apple TV. I didn't realize this version would not run the new Apple TV apps. It also would not run the new Apple Music. This was a disappointment. We ultimately returned this unit for the new Gen 4 model. Love the Gen4.

We like our Apple TV. We purchased to take on a trip with us and it works great at the hotel. It found a home in our entertainment center when we returned home. I like the Apple Music option - it works great. That feature isn't available on the original mode like. There are more Internet stream broadcasters that are offering Apple channels all the time.

I purchased the Type Cover to enable touch typing on my Surface Pro. This has really allowed me to replace my laptop with the Surface. I can touch type meeting minutes on the fly. There is no way I could have done that on the screen keyboard or the soft keyboard. The touch keyboard provides tactical feedback and just works well. Easy to attach to the Surface too.
