Guardians is a fun filled action romp, that perfectly blends the fantasy of comic books with the punch of an over the top action flick. The characters are engaging and will appeal to a variety of viewers, the soundtrack is AMAZING and the visuals are superb. Lots of well timed humor, too.
But watch out, there is a bit of language, the action genre-typical violence and some character death.

Dolph Lundgren is He-Man in this live-action version of Masters of the Universe. The disc contains a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. English, Spanish, and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a commentary track by director Gary Goddard, a theatrical trailer, and an explanation of the different characters who inhabit the fantasy world created in the film. Whatever one thinks of the film itself, this is a very strong DVD with much to offer a fan of the film.

This movie suffers from a lot of the tropes common to 1980s tie-in films. It was designed to sell toys, but barely resembles Mattel's iconic toy line or cartoon. It's supposed to be a sci-fi flick, but falls flat by getting too tangled up in mundane "real world" issues. It desperately wants to be a man-tastic action flick, but only does a medicore job of that thanks to the experience of Dolph Lundgren.
This is not to say it's a bad movie. It's just not good. What this movie manages with flying colors (at least with time and distance from the original source material) is to be a fun-filled nostalgia romp. It's a blast to sit down and watch, and remember how FANTASTIC it was when we were younger.

What's great about it: this movie is exactly as hilari-bad as i remember from my childhood.
What's not so great: this movie suffers from sketchy-plot-to-sell-toys syndrome (very common in the 1980s).

Is theT-Mobile sim card that is included in this package pre-activated ?
I was told that activation of a service with T-Mobile costs 35$. I wanted to find out if this phone comes with a pre-activated t-mobile pre-paid service or do I need to pay an additional fee to get it activated
The SIM in the box is not pre-activated. If you get the pre-paid month to month service set up on the phone at best buy, there will NOT be an activation fee. If you need it for post paid services (billed to your house after you use the service), then you would have to take them to a T-mobile store and, yes, that $35 activation fee will apply.

Add a no-contract phone to a Share Plan
I am using a single line under a newer Sprint Family Share Pack with 1 GB of data (no contract). Can I add a 2nd line and buy a Sprint phone such as Sprint prepaid LG Tribute No-Contract phone from the phones you have listed for sale for this new line? The plan allows for bring your own phone -- I am unsure whether the "prepaid," no-contract phones Best Buy lists are allowed to be activated under this plan?
No, these phones can not be added to existing post-paid family plans or family share packs. Sprint has blocks in their systems to prevent this. You can use an unlocked or previously activated device for this purpose, though.
