Costly cable that did not work

Bought this cable to run in the wall and hook up my DirecTV box to an older flat panel TV. The audio/video feed was incompatible. The box says it was for Ultra HD (up to 4K, min 1080P). You would think it would be backwards compatible more. Returned it and bought an audioquest pearl cable instead.

Great device used for our Christmas tree this year. Was able to remotely turn on/off the device with my iPhone thanks to the WeMo app. Able to turn it on/off remotely (even in other states!).
