Good product, my go to for standard hard drives. Only complaint is that the warranty length has gotten a lot shorter than it used to be. It was 5 years, now 2. Probably because they seem to fail at 3 years. Make sure you have a backup.

Bought this over several others because of the ability to track swimming. It seems to work pretty well. It seems accurate. It was easy to setup after getting the app but without that I was lost as there really weren't any instructions. We first bought the green one but after a week it looked nasty and had color on it from some of the clothes my wife wore. She took it back and swapped it for the black one and has liked it ever since. It has motivated her to be more active, which also helps me too. She looks at the data everyday and likes the sleep data as well. Seems like it was a good buy. I want one now.

I purchased this set because my 8 year old Altec Lansing pair was going out. I wanted to make sure the next set would last as long and I wanted better sound. I listen to hip-hop, I like bass buy not when it drowns out the lyrics. Sometimes, mainly for movies, I have to adjust the bass to very low to understand the speaking. I like how far I can spread out the speakers for better surround sound but at the same time, I have to reach or get up to change the volume. The bass sounds great turned up loud with the thumping bass though. I had a hard time deciding between these and the midrange model for $250 from Bose. I think those sounded better but they had no bass control. They also didn't have a sub, saving a lot of space. After comparing I decided to go with the one $120 less and I have just used the PC settings to change the volume. I'm happy with my purchase.

This is my favorite gadget I have bought all year. I now own three. I've had multiple setups from a desktop tower, WD TV to a Xbox 360 for media streaming on my televisions. This is the easiest to use, my wife will actually use it! It barely takes up any space too.

I bought the cheapest 2.5" drive I could find to replace a HDD in an old netbook for a friend. It'll work for them very well. For my own computers, I buy a better grade drive, with faster speeds and more reliability. I was able to get a price match from Amazon which lessened the cost by a few dollars too. Installation is great, just like all other new HDD's; no issues there.

I watch a lot of TV shows and movies on different streaming sites ie, solarmovies, megashare, primewire etc. Will chrome cast work with these sites? I do also watch lots of Netflix and some YouTube so it may still be worth it for me but it would be nice if it work for my other sites aswell
Yes and no. They work very easy with a free Android app, Yatse and PC program XBMC. I have not found a way to do it without a phone. It works well though.

It's a desktop so you need a 3.5" hard drive.

That depends on the condition of your drive; if it's making noises or having errors--yes, it will run better after replacement. If you upgrade the RPM speed, yes. If it has the same specs as yours, no it will not run better.
